Here am I trying sooooo hard to not get myself into the holiday mood. It's seriously difficult I must say... I cannot imagine how it would be like next year when I take my 'O' levels. What if I don't make it next year in the first place? :S Raar.. And all I think think about now is maths, maths and more maths. I guess my goal is realistic enough. Am I being too ambitious? I hope not...
Ok, better cut down on my usual stuff and start my choo-choo train going. Otherwise my choo-choo train will end up in heaven. HAHA.

Yesterday, had my cell group halloween party! Woohoo! Had great fun there in the function room. Especially, the food!! :D Not forgetting the company with the lovely people! Hee. To respect people's privacy, I shall not post individual photos unless it is something I must really share. HAHA. For example, we had games. One of the sabo was to eat wasabi (sp) and our dear Andrew got it! Thank God it wasnt me ^^

God has been blessing me finicially.. I'm so amazed. Number 1, I achieved the Eagle's award. Which means I'll have money to receive. Isn't that great? Number 2, while working I actually lost my voucher. It was worth $60... I was worried sick when I realised that it was missing. I quickly prayed and told God I tithed faithfully. And guess what, I found it! :D
Was trying my very best to fight for you but I screwed up. Am I such a disappointment? I am always the one apologising. No wonder I felt nothing when I apologised to someone this morning. I am really trying to forget this but I can't. I cant even make my own stand... I really dont know how to describe my situation. Sigh.
Another series of events coming up! Yay. Halloween party with W325 tomorrow. And also Andy Lau's function in Oriental. Too bad, I'm not working that function. I dont fancy him anyway. Hahaha. Bleah.

Work can really lift my spirits up... It made me forgot all about the things that happen to me recently. Well, that's good. Filling up my mind with other things rather than thinking of the bad issues that occured to me.
Hmmm, today's work was awesome! Something really, really interesting to share. It's this Rolex convention, and they converted the concert hall in esplanade into a fine dining place. Placing platforms over the stall area and also covering up the stage. When I first stepped into the hall, I was so amazed. Oh, I stood like a few meters away from the Head Of State who was also the Guest of Hornor for the dinner. Ok, that sounds lame. Hahaha -.- But the dinner was a success! Hooray! Feel so happy for Oriental! Hope the hotel will get more popular. Wahahaha.
From next week onwards, I would not be working. Yay, means more time for myself and obviously for my O levels. Whee. Not forgetting, more lunch too ^^

Energy all drained from work. Yawn... Will be stopping next week to concentrate on my O level maths. Aww, I'll miss the people there. Boohoo! Working in Oriential has been fun! The new stuff that I learn and all that. Also, time passes very quickly. Hehehe.
Sometimes my feet really kills me. But I wonder to myself why must I work and all that. I can actually open up my golden mouth and ask for money from my parents but I chose not to. I discovered that this life of mine is about giving, giving and giving. (not taking and taking like some people, sigh) I actually dont know how to express myself in this situation. Haha.
Hmm, maybe for example while going home from work today, the very old lady along the sheltered walkway in BukitBatok was selling the usual, tissue paper. Strangely, I decided to buy some tissue from her. Gave her $1, she offered me 2 sets but I only took 1. And so, when I alighted the bus and was walking home, my nose was bleeding suddenly. Without hesitation, I used the tissue that I bought earlier on. I smiled to myself and felt so proud of giving, despite that it was only $1.
It feels really great to bless the people around you. Try it, and miricles would come your way! Arise and Build.. Wow.

Woo! Back from a day's work! Haha, really getting used to the people there and the stuff you have to do. So far, I have been doing 4 weddings already. Getting boring. Other functions please! Hahaha, really get to see new faces when working in the different groups. There's one thing I like to complain though. MY FEET! I tell you, it's seriously painful! In the back room, I felt like sitting at one side and cry. But I didnt obviously -.- And when I pass through the door where all the guests are, I have to put a smiley face and serve them.
Oh, the funny thing that I realised over the 5 days of work is that those China people know how to use words like "alamak" and "wah lao"... Hahaha. Pretty amazing for me. Maybe you won't get it unless you hear it with your own ears.
Well, I think I really, really learn a lot from working. Besides, it's my very 1st job and I learn how to suffer. Hahahaha. Sigh, havent collect my pay though... I didnt have to chance to drop by the finance office. GRRR.

Hahaha, haven't shared about my work hor. It's already my 3rd time working there. Getting to know the staffs better. They're fun people. Hehe. In case you do not know, I'm working in Oriential, banqueting department. No doubt, it's tiring :\ But, it's kinda fun! Whee! Really learn a lot of things, meet many new faces and earn money :P
Ok, maybe I admit that I am spoilt. Hahaha. Cos the people in a way look down upon you. And sometimes it hurts. I take it lightly lah. But I was thinking if I became famous or something like that (YEAH RIGHT.. it's only a thought). Those marriage singers, so high class and elegant... And I was there serving the dishes and clearing the plates. Haha. Well, I guess I really learn something lor. Also to be very humble :D One day, I will have a job doing what I like! AMEN! :)
Another thing. During working hours, I do not relly feel hungry so I dont eat anything. Haha. Yay, can lose weight. Somemore walk here and there. Burn all the fats. But the worst is walking in those court shoes! Ahhh! Very painful! Hope I can get used to it. Heh.

Enjoyed today.. or yesterday I mean. Well, 1st thing in the morning I had to make an imprompto announcement in front of the whole school without any paper to refer to -.- Well, it isnt my 1st time making a specch/announcement in front of the whole school by the way. But actually it's kinda fun! Wahahaha!
Had maths prep exams. Ahh. Felt sooo tired. I almost wanted to faint but I hung on! Hahaha. My last meal was the previous day's brunch lor.. That's good actually :X Pia-ing maths all the way!!! It's fun! :
Soon, it was the highlight of the day.. The concert!! Went to the music room to get ready. Was given super gothic make-up. Ahhh. Not that it's not nice lah. Just that I'm not used to it. Hahaha. I very decent one. I prefer to look sweet :D
The performance was ok lah. There were like only 20 audiences? Haha. Obviously I didnt feel shy cos there were so little people. Haha. Norman was super cute! He went out of tune during the song "Holiday" Thank God the people laughed and not jeered. Haha. At the ending of the song, everyone also screwed up. HAHA. And I was laughing all the way. So fun! Well, for my song, "My Happy Ending" was ok... I remembered the lyrics! Haha. Was only given 4 days to know the song lor. My voice did not have enough angst like Avril though. My very 1st female solo song sung! Haha. "That Thing You Do" not counted cos usually guys sing that. Woohoo! :DD
I do not have to be dismayed by the number of audience because big big boss wants us to sing during the DeepaRaya celebrations in school. Hee! Usually when you think of those local pop bands, it would be like those mature mature people, who would be scary right? But for our band, we're special! We're just all innocent dreamers, aspiring to be great performers! That's what I like about Drastic Turnover. We'll make it big one day! Yeah :)

Haaa! So many things happened! One amazing thing. I slpet at 6 am this morning and had a short nap before going to school at 9am. Wooo! Never done that before. The last time lastest I went home was at 4 plus. Haha.
Been going back to school for band practice! Dying to go for math lesson actually but I have no choice... Performing tomorrow! Whee! Support ok. I really practiced and practiced~~ Every performance of mine moves from glory to glory to glory :D
Anyway, today was my 1st time working. Hahaha. Felt so much like a CHC usher. Hahaha. My duty was to serve people in this art exibition in esplanade. It's fun to offer food and drinks and put that smile in front of them. But, my feet were killing me! My hands almost gave way too. It was shivering all the way cos I used a lot of effort holding the drinks and food. But still, I'm happy! I learned new stuff and learned also be more confident! Also made new friends. Hehe, so cool.
Ok, I have tons and tons of things going on these few days lah. They're all making me tired. YAWN. Night!

I will never admit that I am a good singer cos I'm obviously not one. Haha. Have loads of things to learn. It will take me loads of practice to reach that kinda standard. Wow, I really enjoyed myself despite being so busy entertaining the VIPs and visitors. Hahaha. Hope you guys who went for the party enjoyed it too. It's definately something I'll never forget. HAHA.
On 2nd thoughts I think my love language would be gift receiving. HAHA. Feel so touched by the presents you guys gave me. I will share it the next entry. Need to catch some sleep now. SERVICE! :D WHEE!
