im back

Woo, long time no see. Dont know if I lost my readers a not. I hope not! Haah. Whao, I miss typing. It feels good to type once again :D

Anyway, the past week has been totally focused on Social Studies and D&T. Yup, folio done up already! Phew, like finaaly. Hmm, but I actually hope I could touch up on it more. And of course I hope to get a very good grade for it. I MAY need it for my studies in Poly.

I am actually still considering if I would wanna take up nursing. Because I am inspired to be an engineer like my dad too. Hmm. ARGH. Oh well, let's see how things go.

Had teacher's day celebration today. Was abit high, shouting and screaming. I mean that's building up the atmosphere too. HAAH. Concert was alright. Some good[for a school] and cute performances. Oh, and the 4 of us [me, ss, wy, jh] went around giving donuts. Haa. Hope they liked it cos it burned a big hole from my pocket :\ The best part was that I gave a peck to someone :O Yes, I'm an affectionate person ^^ And it feels good to really appreciate your teachers for all that they had done for you.

After that went to my primary school. Had to wait till 12 for the gate to open. I was suggesting to Gopi that we should gate crash and poor security guard may just faint on the spot. There were some so called ah lians and ah bengs that constantly kept scolding the guard. But I looked at it at another perpective. They came, wanting to see the teacher who impacted their lives in their primary school days.

Hmm, felt that the teachers who saw me were not really surprised like :O when they saw me. They were more interested with the students younger then us. Ok, amazing thing. When I graduated, some teachers were still single. And in 5 years time, you see them pregnant or being a father or 2. Time really flies. Hmm, in 5 years time, what will I be? Haha.

NEVER WILL I VISIT KEMING ANYMORE. Unless I become a parent volunteer or a relief teacher. LOL. So, people just come and go in your life. You were close to them at that instant, and then it dosent matter if they see you or not the next.

I was thinking how much I will miss BBSS when I graduate. Going back, seeing the new premise. No hui yi gan at all. And will we still be welcomed back after 5 years? But I would love to see the new building. Heehee.

Apart from all the "playing" during my holiday, I will be studying too! And I will study later!! Let me list out my play times. But I feel guilty. But I WILL STUDY. VERY SOON AFTER I BLOG, I WILL STUDY!

Right now I am sitting at this very table and chair, doing my project and studying. Yup, just moved into my Brother's room because it is much cleaner now with NOTHING. So now I can simply bring my O level materials only and concentrate well :D It's windy here too ^^

Oh, a digital photo taken which I was 8... Means 9 years ago! Aint I cute? Hehehe. Don't look at the cuteness. I was super duper naughty and you definately wont call me cute. Ah, those were the days that I would spent slacking around doing my favourite past time, irritating my Brother xDGuess this is the LAST day using the comp till a week later? Needa study!! But had to turn on the computer today cos I needed to do this project. I'm not exactly done so :( Okok, time to read up SS!!

sleepy

A short update before I go off studying... Been very sleepy recently, sleepy during lesson time, waking up very reluctanly and sleeping in bus rides! I think maybe because I have been staying back almost everyday to practice on Maths. Urgh. Still trying to adjust though. But I certainly made good friends, right? :D Hopefully by staying back after school and all that, my maths will improve. It was kind of encouraging when I would shout out the solution in class during maths lesson but not when I get them wrong :( Nevertheless, I still wrecked my brain and tried thinking! Just hope that the people around me wont get agitated when I say the wrong things. Feel so bad.

Talking about saying things, I had my English O level oral today! Well, I was glad I was super calm, even though after oral my legs were shivering when I walked out of the hall. But I believed that I said beyond what I had planned to say. Which was very good! And I thank God for it. The examinars were like asking,

"If you had won a prize that would were allowed to travel to outer space, where would you go?"

I said,

"I would go to Venus because there is this saying, men are from Mars and women are from Venus. I would like to know why did people made such a saying. More than the location, I'm sure there are more things that are different between Venus and Mars. I want to expirence them personally instead of through contextual knowledge."

The examinars turned to each other and said,

"Hmm, quiet true"

I hope I captured their attention and would give me more marks. They looked very attentive and smiled and EVERYONE who took the oral exam. It's encouraging, really. But I hope I can have more because I already lose out in Chinese :(

Thinking about the question, I should have said Mars. AIYAH! This whould how it would sound like if I said Mars.

"Man are from Mars and women are from Venus. I would travel to Mars to see how is this planet different from Venus. Not only physically but literally. To see what's inside the brain of theirs, and blahblahblah."

Ok, nevermind, forget it. But I know I did my bestest best. HAHA. Oh and please dont despise me if my level of English is lower then yours ok? For me, its already a personal breakthrough. Yup :D

Enough of acadmic stuff. Other then just studying, I need to enjoy food. LOL. Been have little snacks for lunch. Usually I dont have lunch. Bad, bad. I want more stress so I can shed those fats. HAHA. Anyway, went to Crystal Jade with WanTing, Timothy and Cedric. Probably my last big meal before the prelims...

10 weird or little known habits...
Here it goes......

1) I snooze from 5.50am to 6.40am every weekday morning. And the phone rings every 5 mins. Which means I need the alarm to ring 10 times before I can wake up.

2) I accept treats or blessings easily.
First offer: "Dont want lah"
Second offer: "Ok, thank you!"

3) I slept with my parents till I was sec 1.

4) The longest time I spent lying of the bed trying to sleep was 3 hours. [jeez, that's long]

5) Like my brother, I sing in the bathroom :D

6) I go crazy when I am with someone I adore/admire. LOL.

7) I dance to the hi-5 songs once in awhile [HEY, it's good workout!]

8) I dont brush my teeth at night :\ Been trying to brush everynight, but I keep forgetting :\

9) When there's a chance, I would have supper :P

10) When I sing I usually close my eyes. HAHHA.

Ok, done! Shall stop the so called chain and not ask anyone to do it. Right, dont disturb me now. Time to study study study!!

seizing the moment

Today in service I learnt how to seize the moments and not let it pass me by. Really something to think about. Have I squeezed out every single bit of everyday? Even though I have gone through so much in terms of performance, I know that I am still not sastisfied at where I am, definately. Blame it on human nature. We just want everything.

I still remember about 2 months ago, Melina asked me if my band was keen to perform at youth park. Even in the midst of my preparation of O levels, I seized the moment and agreed to perform. And through that performance, I've learnt so much.

Not forgetting Ms Tang asking me to perform for Metamorphosis concert, I didnt let the chace go by. I seized the moment. [ok, even though I took some time to think cos of my exams :P]

Of cos, I wanna thank the both of them! I wouldent have gone through so much if they didnt exist in my life ^^

The rest shared about today is more personal :D But to all of you out there, when there's a chance to do something great, don't let it pass you by!! Who knows, you might be the best around!

Oh ya, and I can probably seize this moment to study. But I shall do it first thing in the morning!!

hi-5 and studies

Phew! Just completed my D and T folio. Well, not all lah. MANY THINGS CAN BE IMPROVED. But kinda proud. Did like 4 pages today? Where I usually wont touch a page for a month! Oops. Hope Mr Tan will be pleased with it tomorrow.

While doing my D and T folio, have been listening to Hi-5 songs! Woo. They simply rock! I wont be wasting time to watch their concert cos it's not worth it, seriously. But I'll drop by to get their CDs :D Nice new songs they have. Very catchy. But nothing beats the good old songs. Like, "I spy", "Music makes me want to groove" and many more! Only Sishi would know the songs. LOL. Oh, and it sparked off when we were looking for CME project stuff :DDD

Tomorrow will be mugging with the peeps in the canteen after school. Yay. Then when I get home, I'll be able to listen to Hi-5 songs all night long!!! WOOOOPHEE.

A quick post before I go off!!

Got D7 for Chinese... Not really that diasppointed becasue it was kinda expected. I know my standard. Felt very bad in a way cos 3 failed in BBSS and I was 1 of them :\ Usually there would be 100% passes. Could see disappointment in the teacher's faces. Well, really sorry but I'll try harder! I remembered I even used Chinese in my handphone to help me a little! Or should I blog in Chinese? Haah.

Also got me to wake up. This thought came to my mind... "What if you get the same results for the other subjects?" So yah.. Must mugmug!

Today proudly did maths in school :D Thank you for your help too! Yep, I should be studying EVERYDAY in school till 5. I cannot let the people around me down! And myself!! Yeahh.

So I joined my cousins at the Swissotel to celebrate this year's National Day! Had a great time. From above, I could see thousands of people who looked like ants! But I was glad to see so many Sinagporeans gather together to celebrate her birthday.
