HAPPEEEEEEEEE! :D
This was taken in Feb 2007. I hope she dosent mind me posting thsis photo. Little did I know that she would be married 2 years later! Oh dear, I just feel so, so, so, so happy! Heehee. Rong, I wish you happiness like foreverrrrrrrrr! And I hope we'll still meet up in NUH too for meals yeah! (ok, i doubt you'll read this anyway :P)
Talking about weddings, I finally get to sit down properly in a wedding. Haha, I think it'll be a cool experience for me after knowing the doings of the wedding. I hope someone won't spill any beverage on me though. Oh, and after seeing brides many many times, this would be kind of like my first time looking at a bride who is someone I know. I believe she's gonna be the most beautiful bride I've ever seen!!! :DDDDDDDDD
Wooohoooooo! Ok, I shall contain my excitement for now... (i know christine jie would be shaking her head now :P)

I'm not that girl
I watch 'Wicked!' somewhere last year. Loved the story, songs and the cast. This song was one of the song I could remember the most. The lyrics are soooo beautiful. Enjoy! :)
Hands touch, eyes meet
Sudden silence, sudden heat
Hearts leap in a giddy whirl
He could be that boy
But I'm not that girl
Don't dream too far
Don't lose sight of who you are
Don't remember that rush of joy
He could be that boy
I'm not that girl
Ev'ry so often we long to steal
To the land of what-might-have-been
But that doesn't soften the ache we feel
When reality sets back in
Blithe smile, lithe limb
She who's winsome, she wins him
Gold hair with a gentle curl
That's the girl he chose
And Heaven knows
I'm not that girl
Don't wish, don't start
Wishing only wounds the heart
I wasn't born for the rose and the pearl
There's a girl I know
He loves her so
I'm not that girl

Photo time!

I had my 2nd choir practice yesterday! I always enjoy it lots, where juicy stuff would be revealed *ahem ahem*. Ok, just one juicy stuff :) Other than that, learning about Solfage (i always hate theory music) and of course learning the proper, actual, official harmonising notes! I am surprised to know a couple of people from choir actually. However, I really envy the performance choir especially when they make the ringing sound next door. I hope to be there one day. In the meantime, let me just settle down here first! :D Step by step!

A trip with Miss Yee.
And seriously, come to think of it, I have not carried a baby before. I don't know why, because my relatives think I'm rough? Thanks to them, I don't know how I am going to survive in Peads ward. LOL.
That aside, yesterday we had an excursion with Miss Yee! :) I must say that I enjoyed this trip a lot! The females!
And the males.
Phew! Ok, I'm hungry... Time to eat!

Fruitful Day :)
Caught up with all my lost sleep and woke up at noon. The dream was too draining for me, serious. I had to run and kill the evil character and stuff with my limbs that were numb. Also, I was at this super steep stairs where I had to sit at the very top of it due to my status in SNA(can you believe it?! i even dreamt about SNA!!!). I could almost fall anytime! I have no idea but it was my dream. Ok, ignore this paragraph.
So I woke up, thanked God for a wonderful day and started watching medical videos my lovely mother recorded. She even took the time to erase the advertisment! I watched Lifeline and Doctor*ology. I was thinking to myself, "If only I watch all these before my exams." It's ok anyway, I got the answer right for that question I was thinking about!
After that, I watched 2 great movies, "The Rocker" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". The first one made me so motivated to quickly revive DT by looking for any possible gigs. Actually, there was one. But thanks to attachment, I can't make it. The boys should be performing without me :( And 2nd movie was really interesting and bizzare. My kinda story. Even though it was 3 hours long, I had no problem sitting still.
Then Mom called me over and taught me how to cook. Haha. We cooked long beans with egg. Also tips here and there on how to make sure your food is not under cooked ;)
Packed my books by placing them into the shelves soon after.
Boom, here am I hogging the laptop. Settled certain admin stuff like SNA(was sending out an SOS email). Installed the new Live Messenger and iTunes. So yeah, did proper stuff!
Woow! What a day!

Exams are over, finally!
Ok, back to remembering my E trip :) Malcolm, pester me no more. This is what we ate for the 3 days in Istanbul. Result, I had a horrible sore throat purely from eating all these grilled/bbq-ed/spiced up food! They're good btw! I couldnt help but to order lamb/mutton for every single meal. My favourite kind of meat. (seesh, i feel evil eating such a meek animal) Go vegan? NAH!
This is what I call a sucky breakfast. It was the best of what we could take from the buffet table! At that time, I was missing the mee siam, carrot cake and economic noodles real badly.
East Europe aside, I took a flight to London. The trip I was really anticipating. I was so amazed and flashbacks of my childhood started to come upon me. I was scared at the same time, but if I needed any directions, I would not hesitate to ask :)
As planned, I waited for Sophia at South Kensington station for about an hour as planned. Of course I settled at some eating place and recorded stuff into my financial book. So the wait to me wasnt long, and there, I met her!
Her smile and giggle was heartwarming. Heehee, I have not seen her for close to a year and there we met, thousands of miles away from home. She brought me to different places including to her school, the place she stayed(where i dropped off my luggage) and in Zone 1. Those bits and pieces of images I saw nearly a decade ago matched up to the one I was currently seeing, just that everything seemed so much smaller (Soph and i were thinking that it was becos i grew bigger and now everything looks so small to me. Haah.).
We settled at this Indian resturant for early dinner. Funny eh, eating Indian food in London?!?!?!

It was already quite dark. We went back to her place and I picked up my luggage. That was it. I was on my own again. With no proper map of how to go to Aunty Kathy's house. No handphone to contact anyone. Everything was based on my brain and the google Earth image I used to identify her house on the internet the day before. I took the train to Hounslow East, followed by bus H22. I could not find the bus stop! So I asked for directions in a fake English(sarong party girls) accent. HAHAHAHA. (JW, I cant believe I said that) I was directed to another bus stop, thankfully. Just as I boarded the bus, I had to ask the driver if he was going to Whittondene. He said, "Yeap." And I was like phew...
After about 15 minutes on the bus, the lil PA system said, "Whittondene". I was confirmed by the LED signs for up the word. The newer buses are actually designed to accomadate to the disabled. Singapore should do the same! So that those blur Singaporeans won't alight at the wrong stops (ok, that includes me if I travel in the north and east.). The bus halted and the driver said, "Yeap, here it is". I was thinking, "Duh, I know it, the PA system said so~" Haha, but I thanked him anyway.
Am I getting too wordy? Influenced by Nat. Whoops!
So I walked to her place, without knowing her house address! I found the exact garden that I used salt to kill slugs with. At least I knocked on the correct door. It took awhile for her to open the door. I will be totally worried if no one was at home man! Can you imagine, standing with a backpack while it's dark in the cold? I told her I was Maria as I was afraid that she would not recognize me(we didnt see each other properly for about 10 years?). We exchanged hugs and she was totally shock to see me. Cos she expected me to call her up so that she could pick me up from the train station.
I settled down and wondered around a little. How rude of me.. But nah, we're like family :) We talked and talked. And I won't wanna continue.
The next morning, I met Soph up again for Greenwich! I have learnt that it was pronounced as "green-ick". I decided to eat the very famous English Pie and Mash. Ermmmm, Indian food is better right? :P I didn't even finish it! Urgh!

We had to trek up this hill to get to the place. I was kinda worrying a little cos the previous time I went there, the gate was locked up and you needed an admission fee to enter. My parents, as typical kia su Singaporeans, didnt want to spend such money(i wont pay the money either). So, I was kinda disappointed at that time as I looked at the other kids jumping around that red line. Who knew, ADMISSION WAS FREE WHEN WE WENT THERE!!! :DD
After several attempts, we managed to capture our faces with the line.

More time for myself, finally. Ahhh, that's my kind of life :)

Happy Valentine's Day!
For this year, I was just a normal Saturday. Hahaha. Had an awesome combined zone meeting followed by service where married couples in the church rededicated their marriage to the Lord. Then, it was a dinner treat by Roy! Thanks so much man! And congrats on your ORD!!!
Jing Wei's new hair with highlights!!!! :) I love it! Beside her, my hair looks boring.

"This is me" in the making
So I've been studying as much as I could. Ok, I feel really guilty to be online. But a lil while yeah. It's just a reward for completing notes for one subject. Wahaha. A few more pages and I'll be done with the other one too.
This is how it looks inside.

Yays!
So far I have written about half the notes for 2 modules and finished reading(having a clearer picture) on 1 module. I just need 2 more days to finish up all the notes and the deeper revision will come in! I wish this week was last week, but all the best to me! :D Yay me!
Thanks for the encouragement, that I got an A for bio pratical test! This shows that my biology can still be saved! Thank God.
And I made it through my church choir auditions! I really can't wait! What's more, I'm in Alto! YAY YAY YAY! Haha, earlier today I even thought of The Kübler-Ross model of death and dying to associate myself not getting in. Silly me.
I HATE my exam timetable. But I've got no choice.

Last Day of Year 1.
SingHealth just sent another letter for sponsership. Sooooo tempting! For a minute I wanted to apply for it, but well, I guess I'll stick to NUH. If the place is not right, I just won't have the feeling. For attachment this time round, I'm really gonna ask about it. I hope all goes well.
Celebrated PeiQing and Burton's birthday. I hope they enjoyed it! :)
Nice chicken mushroom soup.
