So my friends were working the past whole week from 8pm to 3am. Wow. Really kudos to them especially they are having school right now!! Poped by at Orchard to see what exactly they were doing!!
Ahh, actually they have to go to pubs or clubs to promote an anti-drug environment! (ok, sounds contridicting). So my photo taken with this grim weeper will be posted on facebook and I have to ask all my friends to like this photo! And the first prize will be an iPad. Ok, but I know I won't win. LOL. By they way the person behind that mask is none other than Barry! It's so funny to see him dance to the music. Wahahaha.
Sheng Jie was Ronald McDonald.
I don't know what SiShi was. Hahaha. But she's so cute! Hehehe. Saw her talking to the people and I was shocked! Hehe. I always know her as a passive and shy person. But looks like she's none of that anymore!
Awesome gloves!
Drove my Dad to work this morning with my whole family in the car and it was awesome!!! Finally, I can repay my parents by driving them to places they wanna go! Hehe. Pssst! Malcolm commented that I drove better than Mommy. Muahahaha. Ok, let's not get too over confident. I must always drive safely!! :D
Awesome weekend ahead baby!

I Started a Joke....
Performed for the SGH patients for the first time. It felt good. Seeing their smiles, and also rewarding the staffs for their hard work. Maybe I should introduce music when I work in my ward in the future :) I'm sure it helps in the therapeutic sense. I think the patients don't really care what you're singing but they get feel happy to see a bunch of youngsters performing just for them!
A week more of holiday and I'll be having my geron posting. I know I like my posting but when attachment starts, I won't have the liberty to stay out late and slack around :( Oh well, that's life. Have to get used to the working life. And I'm gonna meet all the lovely people. Hope I won't get too attached with them =/
Tried driving for the first time today. I think I'm not that bad but for parking, FAIL. Sigh, I need more practice. Hope Dad will give me the chance and the guidance :)
Time to have my beauty nap...

What A Dream...
Maria and JingWei were chatting at some coffee place in some shopping located in Singapore of course!
Ok, sounds confusing...
Jing, it seems that our conversation last night became a conversation in my dream and that we were face to face!! It seemed so real!!!
Jing: Oh, I'll be coming back to Singapore on _____
Maria: Oh wow that's great!!! Can't wait to see you! Oh wait, why are you here anyway? Since when did you come back? You're back here, so why do I need to bother when are you coming back?

Disneyland - Where Dreams Are Crushed
This morning we headed south from Hirosaki to Oyama!! Guess what did we take again. Yes, the shinkansen...
Had Pepper Lunch for lunch. Hahaha. Hmmm, I guess there's a slight difference in the taste. And you eat with the chopstick instead of the usual fork we have in Singapore.
Upon arriving the hotel. I was really happy that they have the washlet! :) And of course the internet assess available in the room. Muhaahahaha.
Then it was time for us to set off for Disneyland!! Malcolm mingling with the locals...
Getting excited initially...
Then I just got so disappointed. The queues for the rides are so long, everything is so expensive! I think the electric parade did cheer me up a bit, where I had to tip toe to watch the beautiful lights.
"Happy" faces.
Alright, at least we had the chance to sit for the indoor roller coaster. At first I was kinda scared because thrill rides aren't really my kind of thing. But I did enjoy myself screaming for help! Malcolm calls it the "violent rides" and he really loves violent rides. And at last, the photo of the castle. One that I remember seeing in my dream when I was about 7 years old :)
Reality means reality. Oh well...
Looking for more adventures in Oyama!! :)

My new hobby: Mountain Trekking
Urgh, a really tiring day today, but everything was worth it!!! First thing is that we took a bus to the foot of Mt Iwakisan and changed to another bus which drove us up the famous 69 hairpin curves up to a certain stop!!
From there, we took a chair lift that brought us all the way up!! I like~~~ Super thrilling!! :)
Then in order to reach the peak, we need to climb these crazy mountain trek. It was difficult but I LOVED it! I think mountain trekking will be my new hobby. Heheheh.
As you can see, this isn't really Malcolm's favourite...
Beautiful view of other mountains from the top...
We had to trek all the way back down which was even harder but finally we made it, uninjured! Took the chair life back down as well. SCARY!
And then lastly soaking our legs in the hot spring. Ahhhhh!
So tired, and my legs ache. Urghhh...

The Adventure Begins...
We rented a car for the day! I love this Nissan March!! :) Small but powerful!
Our first stop as the Hirosaki Apple Park. MY first time seeing apples grow on trees. I was like WOW!!! This is so cool. Wahahaha!
Malcolm trying to steal some...
Then, we drove towards Towada Lake. To reach that lake, we had to drive up the mountain. Beautiful autumn trees greeted us along the way.
The lake is REALLY HUGE!
On our way down, we drove pass streams and rapids. The water is really clear!!!!
Also a mini volcano lake streaming up itself...
After everything and when it was dark, we pass a town and had sushi for dinner. This is so cool because there is this "express transporter" above the conveyer belt to serve you for your sepcial orders!!!!
Wooohoooo! I think I'm starting to love Japan during this trip!! :)

A Great Cycling Experience! :)
Oh I'm so, so tired right now. Gonnatake a nap later before exploring the shopping centre. Heehe!! Malcolm has just went for his onsen. Didn't go cos I went for many times and I'm trying to save money here. Talking about saving money, Malcolm and I are super crazy about the 100yen shops found in Japan! Hehhehe.
Hirosaki is known for her apples so there you go!! Apples fallen from the apple trees along the street!
This place is gonna be a new tourist attraction!!! :)
We managed to rent bicycles FOR FREE at the tourist office!! :) So we cycled around town like the locals do and ended up at the gardens of Hirosaki castle!
I just LOVE the orangy trees :)
We had apple ice cream. YUMMY!
Hirosaki castle!!! :) I already edited the photo but blogger still posts it landscape view. URGH!
After that we went looking for this buffet BBQ place. Oh lala. It's cheap, good and comfortable!!!!
Yup, this is the place!!! As you can see, our bicycles are parked there.

The Best Train Experience!
Alright I just had an 11 hour train ride so I'm kinda tired. BUT, I have to blog. If not the feeling would be gone!!! Hehehe. Along the way, there will be some photos!! :D
This was taken in the plane. Didn't really have a good sleep. The plane is too noisy and it was so hot!! Thus, the grumpy face. Hehehehe.
At Tokyo, we bought food to prepare for our 9 hour train ride. Phew, come to think of it, we've come a long long way!!! The friendly staff happily helping out a commuter to enter the gates.
Can you beat this?! MUAHAHAHAHA! We took the shinkansen (bullet train)!!! It was like seriously fast. Enough said. Hahaha.
Enjoying my origiri on the shinkansen...
My bento box lunch!!!!
After 4 hours, we had to change to this leisure train. It's really nice because the windows are of a paranormal view. Wanted to have the box seat as showed in the photo below, but it was full :( So we had to stick to the normal seats. But it wasn't bad as well!!
Not forgetting having the view of the train driver!! We were just so fascinated on how he works!
Finally reached our destination blah blah. Settled in our hotel and headed to Aomori from Hirosaki. This is the typical local train. When the train is at rest, it is DEAD SLIENT. Mal and I didnt dare to talk or anything. Hahaha.

So we landed in Narita Airport and I took my very first train ride - Narita Express! The moment t arrived, I was like, "Wah!" Hehehe. Malcolm said it was done 3 months ago so everything is new. Sweet!
The happy faces. Hehehe. This train was going towards Tokyo.
