Survived!

So I just survived 2 night shifts! What I hated the most was the really cooling weather. Everyone could just snuggle under the blanket while I would be sitting at the counter reading up case notes. To keep myself awake, I had to drink cups of thick milo. Hehe. Yummy! And oh on my 2nd night, I had chicken wing! I would definitely do that my next night shift!

Sometimes I am just so awed at my preceptor. Well, she worked for like 3 years or so already and she's really an expert in everything! Ahhh, sometimes I wish I can work like her. I wonder during her learning stage, was her level of knowledge like mine, or am I just too slow and blur? I'm having this fear that she would give me a 'C' for PRCP :S

Aiyah, anyway I am not even a staff yet! Ok, I will give myself till June. By June, I must be good at everything! :) I just need to get used to everything. I need more time.

So from tomorrow onwards I'll be at the 9th week of my PRCP!! WOW! 3 more weeks before I can enjoy my 4 weeks holiday and then start my career. I'm really excited and wonder what lies ahead. Heeee.

Meanwhile, I need to do some serious CNY spring cleaning to my room. I'm glad I found time and managed to get a couple of new outfits to wear. Woooo! I CAN'T WAIT FOR CNY! GOOD FOOD TO EAT AND MOST IMPORTANLY ANG PAOs!!!!!! $$$$$$$$$

The S Word

Am I stupid or am I stupid?!?! Was supposed to collect my passport today but I forgot to bring my current passport to the post office. Darn. Gotta blame myself for being lazy earlier in the morning where I didn't bother to pack my stuff nicely and left the house just like that.

Talking about passport, I'm pretty excited about going for a good holiday before I start my nursing career :) Can't wait for the upcoming adventures!~ Hehehe. Also hope there will be moments alone, just admiring at God's creation and the amazing civilization.

Just returned from an awesome dinner with the Juicez peeps! :) But before that, random photo...

Through the whole musical process, I was thinking she would make the best sister among all the "jiejies" I have! Firstly, we both have about the same size(means we can share clothes!). Then, she is able to control me!(i remember she was telling me to clean up my mess in the dressing table and i did it immediately) And lastly she is of the right age.(oops!) Alright I should stop cos it will be sooooo weird if she reads this! Hehehe.

Morning shift tomorrow, followed by 2 nights. Which means my weekends are ruined. Noooooooo! But at least I get to spend time with my preceptor. Hope it'll be bonding time for us or something :)

It was great! And thankfully we only need to do one show cos for the past 2 productions I did were like for 2 days and it was exhausting! Heeee. Really enjoyed myself in this musical. Despite being only in the ensemble, I still had the chance to perform so many songs and play like 3 different roles, which I don't think I did them any differently. Haha.

Well, I might have only sleep 5 hours the past few days but it's all worth it to me :) Everything is worth it when it comes to doing such performances! And I'm looking forward to MORE!!

So I did my first Sunday, other than those banquet days. Not too bad, things aren't so rushing, but time did past quite fast. Before I knew it, it was already 1pm and I didn't really prepare myself mentally for passing report. But at least I did alright with no difficult questions shot at me. Still, I'm gonna work at it! I'M AT THE HALFWAY MARK OF PRCP ONLY!!! With day 1 being so blur and now knowing what to do, I just need another good 6 more weeks to perfect myself!!! :D

Before looking forward to the end of PRCP, I hace something else to look forward to!~ TADAH!!!

Hehehe. Omgomgomg it's like 6 more days to showtime!! I'm really so thankful for the opportunities given to me. Like even though I'm busy with work and all, I still get to be in the ensemble and get to be in a couple of scenes! For this period, I can never ask for anything better :)

Hahaha. Yes it really did. I mean, what if other life out of this universe do not mean any harm at all? Sometimes I think that humans are the ones who are evil. Gotta watch it to understand what I am talking about.

I'm gonna dream of that place. Can this sci-fi be really real?

My Weekend

Among all the activities I had in the weekend, my favourite was having rehearsals!! :D It has been a long, long time since I last had rehearsals. It was kinda stressful though, cos I had to catch up with so many things. I thought I was going to come out in like 2-3 scenes, but in the end I have about 5 scenes! And about 4 new songs to learn! But it's good lah! I get to perform more! Heehee. Pretty excited about it! 12 more days to showtime!

Also, I had a chance to stayover at Hotel Michael all thanks to Jing! Heee. Ahh, until now, I can't stop thinking of the soft double bed... And oh, we realised the designer of the hotel likes circles so much!!

I could not really understand his paintings also. The setting is like somewhat in a desert with chucks of blocks lying around. Maybe he wishes his heaven to look like that!! Well, my heaven will be green pastures and lovely flowers. Aren't those better things to look at? Hahaha.

So we played Monopoly Deal. But only for 2 rounds cos I was sooooo tired!

The next day we got to slack at Hard Rock Hotel's swimming pool!! It was kinda funny cos why would they wanna put sand into a swimming pool when the beach is only about 100 metres away? -__- And the sand felt so much like rice.

Kinda funny cos after we took this photo, an ang mo service staff offered to take the photo of us but I declined. Then, I realised she had this soviet-like accent. Then I acted paranoid [yes i play too much red alert] and said, "We must destroy you" in her accent! So, we had to be careful of her...

After all the fun and a really full lunch, I went home to get ready for Violet's birthday celebration! When I arrived there, I felt so happy! Hehehe. Because of the food!

I also had like 3 roti pratas! By the end of the dinner, I felt kinda sick :S Here's me and SiShi!!! :D

Today I'm having my off day[means i have to working the coming sunday! urgh!]. Couple of things to do and settle. Ok, at least I'm glad I settled almost half of it. But later I still need to go out! Urgh, I feel so lazy :/ But no choice, must go out and complete my stuff! Tonight I can watch Indiana Jones with my Dad!! Hooray!!!!

It's gonna be crazy during the 2nd half of the week. Thursday morning shift, followed by rehearsal. Then Friday will be MORNING again! Ok, I will survive, I will survive. I gotta remember that I always perform better in studies or work when I have rehearsals. YAY!!!

Anyway I guess I'm adapting really with in Ward 43! YAY! New year resolution fulfilled. Hahaha. I guess I need more practice and more time spent in certain things to just get used to everything :) Oh, I know it's silly but I just feel so proud of myself! I managed to start picking up phone calls! Initially, it would be something that I would avoid. But I stepped out today! At least now I know how to manage calls and all! Ok, I know in the future, I will dread phone calls =X

Overall, I have been well taught by the staff over there. Give me a couple more weeks and I think I can be on my own. I hope!!! At least I have progressed from someone who TOTALLY didn't know how to write a report to someone who can just pass the report verbally confidently. With that, I can't wait for tomorrow's work, so that I can enhance my skills. Hehe.

Tomorrow will also be a very important because I am doing my "If Only" recording! Argh, I hope everything will turn out good! I hope all my notes and diction will be perfect! Most of all, the feel is there! Well, I just need to think of someone when I sing my song. Wahahahaa!

Ok, I'm looking forward to the weekends because I have rehearsals, birthday celebrations and a stay at Resort's World! Woohoo!

What a great start for 2011!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Alright so the old year's OUT and the new year's IN! :D Today I was kinda distracted and all. But at least everything's official :) I just can't wait for the exciting things the team of us are going to do. Sometimes I really wonder why I made such a decision, and all I can say is that I'm taking a step of faith and following the call of God. If He brings us to it, He'll bring us through it!

And I begin to realise that everything happens for a reason. Everything in my life.

Oh my in 2011, I am stepping into adulthood (turning 21 this year)! Starting my career and supporting myself! The only thing I'm lacking is my own house which I obviously cannot afford. But yeah, I'm really keen in having my own house. It's totally not about leaving my parents, but just trying to be independent and no long so sheltered. IF ONLY I had the money... Oh a bad thing would be that I need to battle the lizards at home all by myself. Hahaha.

I know 2011 is gonna be the best year yet!! :D
