Cherishing school days :(

One more week of school, a week of exams and six more weeks of attachment before I return to my 2nd home. I am excited, at the same time scared/stressed of the challenges ahead. But no matter what, I am grateful for all that has happened :) It's the last lap! Maria go go go!!

I hope when I get back to work, I will have more impromptu night outs with my friends like what happened 2 nights ago!

But I'll definitely miss the freed up Sundays...

Drastic Turnover

In 2006, Drastic Turnover was formed. We only did a couple of gigs in school and outside school as a band but it meant so much to us because the smart phone didn't exist yet. And now, we're all grown up (more distinct in the guys). Hope that our next jamming session gathering will happen!

Meanwhile, I need to study and MUG HARD. (Yes, this will be the last time saying this). Can't wait for the exam to end on 8th April!!!!

Zhen Bao's Wedding!

At a blink of an eye, my dear colleague Zhen Bao is married!! :) Feel happy for her... We had a simple lunch at Japanese Garden. The setting is really beautiful I must say, since it's my first time going there. Hehe.

I miss all my colleagues and I can't wait to go back to work! Hope I will be of best function! Whee!

I need to improve on my photography skills though :/ And my looks. HAHAHA!

The Last Lap (Almost)

I don't really know when is the most "sian" part of my advanced diploma course, but this period is definitely sian because:

- I am having attachment, with shifts
- I have a test next week
- My project presentation is the week after
- My lecturer is driving us nuts with her "grilling" questions (not my turn yet though, but it feels like I am a pig waiting to be slaughtered :/)
- I need to submit my case study assignment this Friday (but yay! I finished it! :D)

Still, I think I am enjoying myself :) Gotta cherish my student moment before I get back to work! Urgh! I will definitely miss all those tutorials and lectures, having lunch with my kakis, and the list just goes on!!

Hoping to move on to get a degree soon as well!

At the meantime, I can't wait for all these to end so that I can start going out to enjoy life! Hehehhee...

Rantings of a palliative nurse (not that I'm one)

During my last day of attachment in a hospice, I bade farewell to a patient that I got to know pretty well the past 1 week. I told him, "我很开心认识到你". He replied with sincerity by touching his heart saying, "我也是".

You know, that kinda feeling when you know you will not see him/her ever again...

Attachments, case study, test, project... But I am still playing!

Last week was very eventful!!! Let me elaborate why...

On top of shift work (Tuesday and Wednesday was burned cos I was on PM shift), I still went out after my AM shifts, which were on Thursday and Friday! Ahhhh!

Thursday: Caught Fat Pig with Joel! I know I was led into temptation when he asked me only last Monday. But the play was soooooo good. Didn't regret a single bit! :D

Friday: Went to IT fair at MBS to buy my Samsung camera (like finally!!). I am not regretting a single bit on that as well! Hehehe.

And then met Victoria to take a look at NATAS fair. While lugging my newly purchased camera+drybox+tripod around. But YAY! I am still happy :) Btw, the following pictures were taken by the samsung camera.

Bought air tickets that night when we got home. WHAT?! Our holiday is confirmed?! Yay yay hooray!!! Which means.... I am officially broke @___@

Saturday: Woke up early and made my wake to RWS to watch Gen NYP finals and Light Seeker! It was good catch up time with the SoundCarders as well!

Sunday: Watched the final show of My Fair Lady with Sheryne. Yes, I am even more broker now...(and screwed). The classic familiar tunes are still ringing in my head!

I am happy this crazy week is finally over though :) Now, I need to concentrate on studying for my test and what ever that is mentioned on the title of this blog entry!

Loving my current posting at hospice now though :D Gonna sign up as a volunteer soon and learn all I can and work there one day! Let me be inspired and my life be changed as I open my eyes and heart to the patients there :) Been secretly interviewing some of the volunteers who really just signed up individually. Wow. I really do admire them.
