WITP & NYP Graduation 2014

The whole week was a pretty crazy week for me BUT I LOVE IT :D

Started off with Sunday with a happening event in Tiong Bahru Park!! There was an Indian, Malay and Chinese performance and I was in the Chinese part! Woohoo. Likka ge tai singer!

Love the outfit and wig hehehe... I was so afraid to go out like that because the uncles downstairs would think that I was going to work in a night club. Hehehhee.

And like finally, I am over and done with graduation!~~ Really happy that I had the chance to perform for graduation :) Like a dream come true. Heh heh... And yes!! I have graduated (self-proclaimed that I passed all my exams!)!!!

Was a little too obsessed trying to act as a dancer that I changed into their outfit! Wahahahahhaa :P Not bad right not bad right!!!! :P

Now, I am going to move on!~ Still have so many things to accomplish in 2014!!! Tomorrow is June! I am halfway through to do some awesome stuff!!! :DDD

End of course :)

Today marks the very last day of my Advanced Diploma journey. At a blink of an eye, 8 months flew past just like that! There were good and bad moments, but ultimately, I guess it made me a better nurse and a better person! Met some really awesome classmates. One thing for sure, my social circle in nursing has expanded and I hope to work with them someway or somehow in the future!

So, for the past 2 weeks(and I am glad it's finally over~~), I have been going for morning shift, waking up at 5am and then going home to bathe at 4pm and then making my way to NYP for rehearsals all the way till 10pm @_@ It was bloody tiring!!!!! But I'm now done with it!!! I am thankful that these people made me alive!~

Celebrated Rene's birthday as well (a customary thing).

It's 3 more days so SHOWTIME!!!! Ahhhhhh! So happy that graduation is just after the course. Though my graduation ceremony is next year, I still have the graduation feel. Heehee.. It's gonna be another tiring week but WOOHOOO!

Tired...

The past week was ultimately busy @_@ Imagine... Going to work, waking up at 5am, ending work at 3pm, going home to rest for awhile and having rehearsals from 6-10pm, ON A DAILY BASIS... And finally it is now the weekends. Phew. Managed to catch up a little bit more on my sleep :) It's 1 week and 2 days to graduation! Really excited about it! It's like finally, my dream coming through after all these years!~ Really hope my team (myself and Jia Yun) will sing and perform well! We went through the good and tough times... I just can't wait for the time for us to finally shine during the ceremonies.

Last Saturday, I caught Grease the musical with the Sc alumnus! :)

The band was awesome! Like, really awesome! I'm not sure if it was their energy or the genre of music. But I really love them! :) There were also pretty amazing head voice singing. It was also good catching up with them :D

LifeUnited also celebrated her 3rd birthday! Indeed, we've come a long way!

I am very thankful for the wonderful friends and leaders I got to know in church! Cheers to many years ahead of us! May Jesus be always the center of this church and our lives :)

On mother's day, had a performance at Pasir Ris Elias CC~ It was fun performing last minute stuff. Hehehe. Love these people to the max too! Muacks!

I also finally went back to ward 43 for my 2-week attachment as a student! It feels good to be seeing my colleagues and interacting with my patients. Met new ones and got to see some old ones as well. It is indeed heart breaking to see them sick and all, but I just feel so happy that in a way, I am going through this journey with them, giving all the comfort and support I can~ Looking forward to more adventures! Wheeee.

On Vesak day itself, went to Valerie's house and produced this!

It was quite slip-shot as we did it within 4 hours but I'm glad it turned out quite well! Hehehe. I love the music arrange and the chords of this song~

After that, had a karaoke session with the ward girls!! :)

I am glad that now I am kind of enjoying my life not studying. Wahahahaha. I really love the times where I can just go home and sleep or slack around (like what I am doing now).

Trying

I am disappointed with my team during graduation rehearsals yesterday... I somehow hope that this challenge that we are going through will make us stronger and closer to one another!

Since I decided to sing for graduation, and have come this far, I must not give up! I must be patient and grow together with my fellow partner :)

God, I really need you to step in... I need You more and more each time I think I might not need You.

Strange

It is strange that I actually care so much for the person who has hurt me the most...

Those were the days....

After a year of agreeing and weeks of postponing our meet up, we finally met each other for breakfast! :) It's pretty amazing that after 12 years, we managed to keep in contact through facebook.

This was taken in 2003 when I went back to visit during CNY after graduating from Keming. (unfortunately we didn't have a photo taken together when I was in Keming primary itself :/)

And more than a decade later!!!

If I'm not wrong, I think I used to admire and look up to her quite a lot. Haha, I would still remember that she would call me by my English name during Chinese lessons. And she would often ask me to sit down or stop talking..... Oops...

It was nice updating each other about our own lives. I shared my nursing experiences and my love for performing, while she shared about work and how active she is in church! I'm actually quite happy that recently, she has become a fervent believer of Christ. And I felt so comfortable to talk about God and simply just fellowship with her (since we did not have any proper adult conversation before)! I really hope that this might be a start of something new :)

Sadly I am not in contact with any of my primary school classmates. Boohoo. It would be nice if I could relive my primary school days once again...

It's about time...

Time really flies! It's already the first day of May and I am towards the end of my advanced diploma journey... I hope something within me has changed and that I will be ready to go back to work and make that little difference to my colleagues and my patient's lives :) Really thankful for all kinds of opportunities, all things I have learnt and the people I came across with. The only thing that I'm gonna miss is the intensive usage of the car, my long perfect weekends, being able to plan activities in the evening, wear pretty pretty and wake up at a reasonable time :/

At the meantime, I am gonna be really busy busy with graduation rehearsals! Imagine, going to the auditorium for 2 whole weeks on a daily basis :/ And my team isn't THERE yet! Hope we can do it the next few trainings~ Kinda worried because it is really rushy and intense :/ And now, MY VOICE IS TERRIBLE! Hope it will recover quickly!!

Today is labour day and I cycled to Little Guilin and played around with my camera. Hope to take better pictures at time goes by!
