Maria is officially broke

I've just made one of the most biggest purchases in my life... *drumroll*

It's crazy, but I just got myself a Yamaha Fino 115 :)

This guy (yes, I choose that he shall be a male) is gonna change my life. Hmmm, maybe I should name it hehe. I'm pretty excited about it!! Gonna collect it on Wednesday, with the help of my dear secondary school friend, Andrew!! Really, he has been of great help!

I know nuts about riding, but I hope I will learn a lot this journey. Thank you God :) This is too good to be true!

Thank You

No photos of us, but such memories (even the simple ones) will remain in my heart :)

I'm not really sure if it was a date, but thank you for paying for everything, like how a date would be...

That dream may or may not come true. But I'm always treasuring the moments with you.

Thank You.

My 2B experience

Heehehe. Good news because I passed my 2B bike test! Finally, I have achieved something that I have always wanted to many years ago! :) Glad that I pushed myself to sign up and attend the classes regularly. And thankfully that I am a girl, because I felt the instructors treated me better as compared to the guys and prolly paid more attention to me! MUAHAHAHAHA!

I was really really really nervous the day before the test. Went for as many RC as I could despite my crazy schedule. On the test day, the waiting time was killing me. But as soon as I set off, everything went pretty fast!!! After the test, I somehow felt good about my performance and confidence during the test. Must be the prayers and God that helped :) We were gather in a room and the instructor started calling out people to proceed to the other room. It was really nerve-wrecking. And then, he told us that we all passed the test! HOORAY!! It felt very much like American Idol when releasling the results of the mass audition. Hahaha.

After that we had to attend a compulsary highway lesson. Whoa. I had the time of my life! It felt so, so amazing! I could not stop smiling to myself :) I really really promise to ride very safely and slowly despite whatever circumstances I may be in!

Yay yay yay... Gonna get my scooter soon :D All thanks to God!

BKK 2015

Before I start, let me formally introduce whoever who reads this!! Welcome, to my "new blog"! :) Changed my URL and the background. Hahaha. Strangely, I've been liking pink. So that explains the colour of this blog. I hope it won't hurt my eyes much!

Anyway, my 2015 started out with a simple BKK trip. What made this trip special was having the opportunity to take Cathy Pacific's Business class!! Burned a hole in my pocket but I guess the deal was worth it and it was a good experience :)

From Singapore to Bangkok... We took the newer version. What was impressive is that they served meals and drinks on glass and porcelain. Meals to me were so-so but we had 3 choices instead of the usual 2 in economy class.

I could also make my seat flat. Unfortunately, I only had 5 minutes of sleep as the flight was only for 2 hours. The moment I dozed off, it was already time for landing :( Love the side table where I could put all my random stuff and drinks.

And of course a selfie moment with Malcolm!!

The hotel we stayed was great. Breakfast buffet served good food and they also had evening cocktail from 5-7pm! Which means we could snack a little with some alcohol :P I got a little obsessed with olives.

My loot of the trip. Honestly it wasn't much :( Because I was pretty pressured by Malcolm and all. But anyways, better than nothing!!! :)

Didn't take many pretty photos as the main thing was the trip was eating and shopping and eating and shopping. Nothing nice to share about that in photos. Hahaha.

A final photo- The older version of Business Class... Pretty much similar to economy to me, because the seats could not go flat. Nevertheless, I got to experience both versions!!

Now that the series of my staycations/holidays are over, I am zzzz-ed. Been involved in committees and projects at work!! Help!!! Next, I'm looking forward to Irena's wedding, my bike test and CNY!~ 2015, I hope you will be awesome!

Happy 2015

Here's to a great new year! (I hope) As many went out or stayed up late to countdown, I slept throughout the new year. Hahahaha... Presenting my wishes/goal for the upcoming new year!

1) Pass my TP and get that bike!!!
Yeap! It will be 20 days from today :/ Ok, I better start my intensive RC and SP!! Aiming to pass on my first attempt!!!

2) Start to do volunteering work!
I told myself that if I were to get myself a bike, I will promise to ride to the hospice every Saturday to volunteer!! Can't wait actually and may God give my ample time in my life and good time management.

3) Sing for my own graduation
Graduation ceremony for advanced diploma will be this year! And it would be an honour to sing for the ceremony as we all graduate. I hope the selected song will be an awesome one and I can sing well for it :)

4) Get that scholarship and start studying
Already submitted my application and I really, really, really hope that I can get it! Leaving it in God hands. Really. All I need now is a miracle. I also pray that I will do well for my interview. And as I start school, more than just getting good grades, I can enjoy school life/uni life and learn so, so much about everything and grow as a person.

5) Lose some weight (LOL)
Ok, I had to put that for the sake of putting that xD

6) Improve myself as a performer
Means taking music theory? Urgh, I am not sure... And of course I hope to have more opportunities to perform :))

7) To be a better nurse
Of course!! I must say that I did improve after advanced dip. I feel that I am now less task-orientated and I now really focus on what I can do for my patients and even try to meet their emotional needs. I was rather pleased with myself as one of a very, very educated patient that I was looking after today praised me for being "efficient". She told me that she felt that I was different from the others(I'm not boasting or being judgement yeah...) and that in a way she feels comfortable(don't need to ask many things) when she is under my care. That warmed my heart... My first compliment from a paying class patient :D With that, I am really motivated to do better!!
