Hohoho! It's December!

2009 is coming to an end. I remember counting down to 2009 with JingWei at my place. Time flies huh! 2010 is coming already. And it's the year that I will turn 20. Goodness!

I have been prompted a lot to think about what happened over the year. Overall, I felt that 2009 is(was) a year for me to learn and humble myself. Not forgetting the series of fastfood fasts. Heehee. I completed one in July and November! So proud of myself! :D And being exposed to musical performances in school. Heehee. And getting my bond with KKH. And seeking wisdom from the people older than me(because they went through life more than me). And the exposure to so many things in church. And the list just goes on...

Other than that, I have so much to think about. I will find one day during the holidays to just stay at home and think about my life. Reflecting makes things much more meaningful! :D

On a side note, HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY MALCOLM!!! Come back soon so that I can go to your room and disturb you. I also miss playing with all the gadgets you have. Hehe. Since I'm older right now, maybe we can play skirmish games together? :) We can also gossip about our friends and all. (ok, we dont gossip, we analyze people. and jeez, i dont know that i can actually do that with my brother!)

Alright, time for me to have a good night's rest before studying for my killer week 8 :( But no worries, it'll be over soon! Whee!

Christmas is coming!

Well, my Christmas wish to just do well in my upcoming tests. I'll be very happy as long as I at least a B or more kind of standard. I know it's a lame thing to wish for Christmas but oh well, my intial wish will never happen, so no point wishing for it.

Tomorrow's my practical test! You can say that I'm confident (as always) but I am just so scared that I may make some kind of stupid mistake and fail :( Yeah, once bitten, twice shy. I have been drilling the points into my head the whole evening though I think that it's kinda useless because we learn by practicing, not reading words. So, all the best to me!

Of course, congrats to JingWei for doing so well in her first semester! I feel so envious and I just hope that I can get distinctions and all when watching YouTube at times. OOPS!!! Probably is all about relying on the strength of God :D Maria, you can do it! :D Heehee.

Crazy weekend

Before I turn off and start my intensive study(which i hope to really do it), I shall share what I have been doing over the long weekend! It has been a treat for me and I am very thankful for it.

On Friday, met up with the Poly peeps to celebrate Shu Xian's birthday and do some SHOPPING!

LingLi wore a dress that day... So sweet! :D

I managed to "reward" myself with a few stuff that I bought. But seriously, it's not enough! Hahaha! I shall do even more shopping when the upcoming tests are over! Christmas is truly a season of giving. Yeah, I felt that stretch on Friday. I hope that person will be blessed! :D

After shopping, went to Mark's house for a fantastic cgm!! Phoebe, no worries, we are doing well!

From there, I proceeded to Sebawang's Home Team NS chalet for Pei Xian birthday celebration!!! At 12 mindnight, we had this series of thingys for her. She was allowed to enter the room at all, until 12. As she was blind folded at the room outside, we were supposed to ignite the party poppers. I accidently said, "I am so afraid to pop!!!" And Sishi slapped me immediatedly. HAHAHA. How careless of me. Oopsy. So yay, after opening her eyes, we presented her with a pretty cake they designed. Then, we asked her to find her present under a pile of balloons. That wasn't any presents though, and Sheng Jie popped out from underneath and gave the birthday girl a fright!

We were all orderd to take a shower(thankfully i brought my clothes!!) before part 2... Heeheehe. We created a square with the table full of drinks in the middle!!!

After that we had a series of games. My favourite part was that we could laugh all night. Hehehe.

More than that, we chatted and had questions like, "If you could kill one person, who would that be?" and "Who would you want to spend the rest of your life with?" Pei Xian seemed to be the most popular person and I was so jealous. Hahaha!

I managed to get like 2-3 hours of sleep... We woke up and I(and some others) had to leave already.

Went home, took and bath and proceeded to JW church for Tim's baptism! Congrats boy!

Service was awesome and it'll be something I'll remember in the long run :)

When I got home, I managed to catch Phoebe on skype and I chatted with Jing and Phoebe!! Was happy, of course! :D Glad to hear that they are enjoying themselves over there as well... I just can't wait for them to return! Have to be patient on that. Yeah, and we talked for like 1 hour...

Alright, the worst part of Sunday... Got to go study now! :/

Ok, I feel so much better after doing abit of school work! Nothing much, just preparing myself mentally for the crazy week 8!!!!!!! Can you believe it?! 2 project presentations and 2 tests on Tuesday and 1 test on Thursday. Not forgetting, 2 tests on week 7. Well, I hope I can do well admist of all the busyness.

I mean you would be thinking, "Oh man, why don't you just start studying when you reach home?" Well, I usually reach home at 11. Haha. I feel that I can't run away from it? You can't just expect me to quit whatever I'm doing now right? I think I'm coping well, if I stop doing up my jigsaw puzzle and stop playing bejeweled on facebook. Hahaha.

I'm very happy cos another of my childhood dream has been fulfilled!!! - To perform like a Hi-5 member. The event was good, the kids were all so spontaneous!! But knowing about their lives made me realise how blessed I am.

It's a 4 hour break in school and I'm gonna make good use of every single minute of it! :D I am determined, I can do it!!!

Pssst! 4 more days to Macdonalds!

Randomness

It feels good cycling at 12midnight at about 24degree celcius listening to, "Nothing is Impossible"

I've learnt that words is a powerful tool. It can hurt, it can affirm people.

My life is so fruitful especially when I cycling past xiao guilin everyday. Oh, and I get to save up to $1.38 a day!

I can feel the chilli of the frog leg porriage swimming in my stomach.

My Childhood Idol

PRETTY!!!! Oh dear, that means I will look uglier and fatter when I grow up (no offense Kellie!).

It's been almost a decade since Hi-5 started and I have to say that I am really disappointed with the new Hi-5 team :( Not their fault actually that they look ugly or can't sing as well but it just feels different! Goodbye to Charli, Nathan, Tim, Kathleen and my favourite member, Kellie. Ok, anyway I have to get real. They're all aging and can no longer entertain kids like some young adults. Well, all I can do is to look at their videos. I still thought I had hope in meeting and taking a photograph with them :/

Weeks ago I signed up for some nutrition thingy in school. I thought I had to attend a lecture and that was it. But I was wrong. I am now being followed up by a lecturer. She wants me to record my diet and exercise daily. I didn't know that the school would take it so seriously. So yeah, I have a personal counsellor! Wooahh! It's a one-on-one session weekly so I can have all the attention! All the attention to have the motivation to slim down of course.

Then, I won't be looking fat and ugly when I turn 35.
