What's Hot Now

If I didn't have exams and had family members or close friends who are so into the world cup, I would be watching most of the matches. On my way home, I was walking back and heard cheering and roars when South Korea scored. Then, I thought of the moment in 1998, when I was 8. I had fond memories of watching soccer matches with my grandfather! I stayed at his place so we would be watching the matches those nights. I still remember he said stuff like, "Outside!", "Goal!" and "Kaiyu!"...

To be honest, I miss all my grandparents. I'm figuring this is the reason why I pay so much attention to the old people especially when I work in the wards. I do regret that I didn't spend much time with them when they were alive. So I guess I'm paying back all the kindness that I owed them.

In sync with this, this FLC musical is all about relationships with your family and especially with your grandparents. Indeed, we know so little of ourselves when we were young compared with the many things they know about us.

Urgh, I can't go back to the past anyway. But let me show my love to the ones still living here in Earth :)

Alright! That would be enough blogging for the next 1 week. Need to concentrate a lot on my exams. God, I need your strength!!!

Crossroad

A few minutes ago, I was caught in a dilemma!! Didn't know what to choose. But for now, I've decided. I really hope that this isn't a wrong choice! :S

Today I learn that everything that we go through is already written down, waiting to be carried out!

Dear God, if you want me to go for the other thing, just make certain things happen. I need your guide this time round!!

Guess Who's Back!

Yay!!! And she used her sister to lure me out so that she could surprise me!! Awww. Hehehe. Really appreciate it! I'm happy of course! Glad you're back for 3 weeks babe!! I'll spend as much time as I can with you!

Went instrument browsing... Congrats to Roy for getting his djembe!! Hmph, I'm so jealous! I'll wait for 50% discount before getting what I want. Hehehehehehe.

Spending time with these people makes me sane. And I can't believe it! Just to go out with them, I actually took the extra effort to wake up at 8.30am to study for a good 4 hours!! Yay me!! Really hope I can do well for the papers!

Jogging in the morning... Hope I won't be too lazy to get up :/

Random update

The bad thing about having too long a study break is that I become super complacent. I just give to the distractions easily (for example, NOW). A part of me thinks that I am not studying enough, and the other part of me is saying, "Come on!! You have another week!! You have (12hrs x 7 days) more to study!! And that does not include the time after morning papers, where I will have ample time to squeeze in all the information.

Sometimes I wished that facebook did not exist.

I observed that almost every nursing student had to take a photo with an OT gown. So, how could I be left out? The special thing about me is that other students smile nicely but I gave the mad surgeon look. Heehee. Oh, and to prove that I studied, wearing this gown part of my practical test! The photo is not a good example cos I didn't wear my mask and cap. Good part is that my hands are above my elbows. So that's 3rd year nursing for you! Of course there's more complicated stuff!

I watch the mission trip videos Roy passed to me. I am so pumped up and excited right now. WAIT FOR ME PEOPLE! Really, really, really excited about it! Can't wait for August!! Emerge Camp here I comeeeee!

Back to studying. Ciao!! Tomorrow will be an exciting day for me!! :D

What's Next? Snow?

You wanna know how I was affected? I didn't get to sleep through the nice and cold rain! :( For once in a long time, I got back to the wild and crazy me!! Slept at 6.30am and woke up at 10.30am to head for school. Ok, play time's over. Time to do serious work the next few days!!!

Malcolm and I were talking about random stuff and I told him about the flood in Orchard Road. He said that prolly the PUB scholars took shortcuts in their study paths and that's why this happened today. He is funny! I just can't wait for his return on 29th Aug. Like hello, it has been BORING during dinners the past 4 years ya.

The more I look at my new blog layout, the more narcissistic I think I am, but I'm not okay! I just extracted the rich and famous part from Diary of a Wimpy kid book. Yeah, I'm 20 and I read that book. Seesh!

Yesterday Once More

Once again I am sooooo stressed over a song!! Sang this song over and over again to make the feeling right. I hope there was improvement. Looks like theatre isn't that easy afterall :/  But I'll try my best!!! I will reach my peak on July 9th!!

I've been studying somewhat with the laptop right in front of me. So yeah, wasn't that fruitful :/ BUT, I'll try in the next 2 hours after switching off this thing :D I have been occupied in making this new blog design. NICE?!?!?! Heehee. There's a "like" and "dislike" portion! Feel free to share your feelings, and I won't know who dislikes it.

Had driving lesson today and I really admire my driving instructor. He is very, very professional. He doesn't get pissed even though the things I did could just make him so boiling mad. Yeah, I must learn this from him when I become a nurse! Not getting pissed when I get so mad with my patient or something :D
