Beautiful Weddings

6 September 2014 is definitely a day to remember :) I attended 2 very beautiful weddings of people who are close to my heart. And again, I'm at the ladies side!!!

Yupyup!!! That summed up my weekend!! Erm, the other day was spent working. Booohooohooo! Work really has been like crap the past few days! But anyway, I am 3 friggin days to my holiday which was planned almost a year ago!!! YAY! I really need this break! I hope it will give me good rest and refresh me so that I can function better when I return and during JCI!!! HOHOHOHOHO.

I also hope that I will be able to blog faithfully, and take amazing photos!!! Till then!! 

14 days!

Yup! It's 14 more days to my long awaited holiday! And jeez, I have not really started packing yet. Oopsy! And it's not helping that the ward has been beyond crazy. Boohoohoo. I just completed 2 night shifts, and I hardly checked my handphone. Not to mentioned I didn't get my 1 hour break. Sucky sucks man! I can also feel the lethargy from my colleagues.

Argh! I just want an enjoyable holiday soon. Ok bye!

Missing in action

Urgh urgh urgh.... I know I have not updated for quite some time already :/ Too busy with everything I guess? Hehehe. I'm feeling really tired. I need more sleep.... But all's well because I am freaking excited about the things that are gonna happen! :DDD

Last night I had the jealous feeling, feeling so sucky about myself. But I can't help to also think about the awesome things that I am blessed with :) So, let me list em down to remember the good things in my life!

1) Doing a Bukit Batok show later!!! I've always wanted to do something in MY neighborhood and finally I am!!! Wait for the photos!!!
2) Weddings!~ Namely Yvonne's, Rene's and Jamie-WeiJie's :) Means burning a hole in my pocket? :(
3) Malcolm's return and our food adventures!
4) My holi holiday with Victoria. I can't wait to wunder around and get lost in an air-con temperature! 26 days to our flight!!!!
5) JCI week!!! The more we colleagues work together, the more closer we get! Can't wait to build up our relationships!!
6) A new addition soon to my family!!!
7)) An upcoming cruise show!! It's really a blessing for this one :)

It's only August and I have already so many things to look forward to till the end of this year!!! Thank you God for all that you've given to me :D

Jealous

Urgh. I can't help but to feel jealous at this moment...

Disclaimer: Jealous doesn't mean I don't feel happy for them. I do feel happy for them.. I do.. It's just a sudden urge that I wish I could be them.

I'm jealous of a junior colleague that had a scholarship chance and just had her last day of work yesterday.

I'm jealous that another colleague of mine had her birthday celebrated in the ward and could see that she felt so loved by many others.

I'm jealous that a group of couple friends went out without jio-ing me, maybe because I don't fit into the couple category. Not that I could make it though. Hehe..

Sorry this is just mindless ranting... I'm actually asking for trouble posting these stuff but let's hope not many people will read this! Urgh, feel like I'm drunk!!!

I'm just too tired. Alright. I shall go and sleep and think about the good things that I am blessed with :)

What does Nursing mean to me?

Hehehe... This photo will be representative of nurses' day because I look good in this picture. Just a disclaimer! :D Ok lah, I still love my "god ma"...

I had the greatest honour to be the emcee for the awards presentation, which means I had to sit in the auditorium and listen to the different speeches(it's a first btw). There was a video played entitled, "What does Nursing mean to me?". This question made me think and reflect what I have been doing 3 years of my life.

I would say that nursing means the world to me. It taught me so many things. It made me reach deep into my emotions. It allowed me to see hope and disappointment. It made me realise how a job can impact someone's life. Would I ever trade my job for something? Nope, and never ever...

After my advanced diploma, I did challenge myself to talk to my cancer patients and reach into their emotions, like how they feel and how we can help them etc etc. I know I won't be that perfect angel to heal their hearts but I'm trying harder day by day :) Sometimes I just get too caught up with tasks especially now I am assigned to be an overall IC at times. But all's good. I'm still being molded to be that nice porcelain vase... Ultimately, I want to share the love of God. Let's hope something awesome will happen soon!

Awesome weekend

Apart from work, I tried to give myself my fair share of fun!!! Jeez! All I need is sleep now! Zzzz... Ok, so my weekend was awesome because Elson invited us to 987's RSVP partay! My main intention was to get free drinks, free food(no free food boohoo) and FREE GIFTS/PRIZES!!!! AND I DID! MUAHAHAHHA!

They wanted the attendees to submit photos of the party and post it on instagram. They were looking something creative and related to the party and I thought of this :)

Boy I was so, so happy when I saw my entry on the TV screen! Heeheehee. I was pratically dancing on stage! Yay! And I had this lovely/funny shot with the Muttons! Justin asked me what was the inspiration of the photo... I told him that I like to eat. *stupid answer and making a fool out of myself*

The group of us managed to take a photo with all the 987 DJs! Jeez!! Looking at most of them makes me feel like I'm growing older :( Slowly, there people are becoming my age. And one day, I'll be older than them!(except the Muttons of course, hehehehhe)

Had to work morning the next day hohoho and celebrated You Peng's birthday after work :D

So that sums up my awesome week! Nurses' Day is coming and  I can't wait to take more pretty photos and have fun YAY!
