Activities of the week

Ok, it's a Sunday! Finally I have a whole day just to myself (to sleep, pack my room, get ready for school, etc etc), followed by dinner with parents in the evening. I need not worry about attachment!!!!!!! Yay! I'm all excited about going back to school! Heehee. Can't wait to eat Macs there again! (note to self: please have another 1 month of fastfood fast soon...)

Had a belated birthday celebration on Thursday with Theresa and Marcus! Ate at Ichiban Boshi AGAIN after 3 years. Hmmm, time flies!! After that, we chilled at the rooftop.

Theresa! She's so pretty! :D

I don't know what's with them and their gifts. Hahaha.

The three of us!!!

Whose birthday happens to fall on consecutive days. 2nd, 3rd and 4th of October.

The gift from Theresa. A faceshop package. I LOVE IT! Thanks babe!

Was so happy that I was able to see Theresa (but not Marcus :P). We didn't meet for like how many donkey years! I kinda miss her voice and she was chatty and all. Love it! Babe, we need to meet more often! Like how Phoebe mentioned about her buddies in her blog, I first met Theresa at the bus stop outside her house on the day I first came to church (it was on my 13th birthday!). We became good buddies cos we got to know a lot about each other in those long train rides. Heehee. We were also regarded as being the younger ones in the cell group. Ah, those times! Babe, you handwriting didn't change at all! It's still the same! Wahahaha.

Friday marked the last day of attachment!!!! What made my day brighter was that I passed my BTT when I took it that morning! YAY ME! Time zoomed past when I was in the busiest cubical in the ward @_@ It was good though!

Me and my NYP lecturer :) He's soooooo nice! Gave all of us a drug book which costs slightly more than $10! I hope my future sister will be exactly like him!!! I do look decent in my nursing uniform right?

Lastly, the cheena peeps ended off our holiday by going to CHECK IN for drinks. Not bad. Love the atmosphere. The waiters and bartenders all wore slippers with white shirts and shorts. Sloppy, but unique.. Hahaha. As usual, I had to tease those who got drunk. Hehehe :P Violet! Who was wasted.

My holiday wasn't that bad after all huh. I'm all ready for school! With lessons, projects, CCA and musical trainings! Year 2 sem 2 here I come!!!!!!!!!!

To end off the post, please watch this video!! Funny! (in my opinion)

2 more days

Did I just say 2 more days!?!??!?!! Whoopee! Ok, overall I think that the attachment had been an enjoyable one :) I don't know why, but time seems to fly... Love to just give patients the security. Well, have been affirmed by one of them and that felt really good! I just can't wait to work full time already!

As usual, the cheena peeps have been going out everyday! So unfair! Got a call from SiShi when I was already asleep at 11 plus. Guess they were asking me out. Heh. Oh well, I can't wait for Friday's overnight activity again! The very last outing before school starts.

Yeah, just received my school's timetable and Monday's lecture will start at 8am @_@ Still yay! I can't wait to sit down and just listen to the lecturer rant and rant! I just hope that I won't be too overwhelmed with the things that are going to pile up. For a start, I MUST do well for Nursing Lab! Going to have rehearsals everyweek on Wednesday and Friday. There will be a lot of spare studying time in school... I can't wait for the first training!! Whee!

Going out with Marcus Yip and Theresa tomorrow! Celebrating our belated 19th birthday. Can't wait!!! Ok, gotta rush off the write those cards. Heh!!!

I'm tired!!! God, please give me the energy!

Crazy Weekend!

Ok, I'm officially KO-ed. But why on earth am I still blogging? Nah, it is different, compared to going out and coming back home late.. Heehee. I've been a crazy fellow, reaching home at unearthly hours of the day, and sleeping for ruthless hours, despite knowing the fact that I need the sufficient rest for attachment. Fyi, ONE MORE WEEK!!!!!!! HOORAY!

Btw, I went prawning with the secondary cheena peeps(should call them that from now on) at Boon Lay. Well, I managed to catch 2 prawns on my own! Woo! Though, I think it is quite a stupid hobby. Ok, you're fishing for prawns in a 5 by 5 metre pond, with depths of about 0.6 metres. And every 2 hours, the staff pours prawns in the "refill" the pond. The best part of this activity was to cook them alive. MUAHAHAHHAA. Matt and I purposely chose the prawn which struggled first to be placed over the fire. And that was how we clicked right away some 10 years ago. We just love disturbing living things. Not to mention, the prawns tasted so good!!!! Love the juice and all that. (i hope God won't punish me for killing and eating)

The next day(Sat) I had to wake up early for jalan raya-ing! :D For this activity, let the photos do the talking... Fadzly and I.

The girls!!! It was nice of them to actually invite me, Bernice and Marcus along. Thanks guys! We first went to Fadzly's house. I was inspired to make my house as decorative as possible. Feel kinda ashamed of my messy, ''full of everything'' house.

The couples with matching outfits. Haha.

Bernice and I with the borrowed outfits from Syuhada! Thanks girl! ;)

Dosen't it look like some family kinda shot?

The dudes...

Next stop was Syuhada's place which was like a 2 hour bus ride from  Fadz's @__@ Heehee. Had food there as well. It was in the evening and I needed to meet my NR0811 mates!!! :D I actually didn't know that the purpose was to hold a lil gathering for my birthday...

I was happy with everyone's presence! Thanks guys for all coming down!!! Heehee. And the gift! I love it!!! Enjoyed talking about attachment stuff. They're the best when you need a listening ear, because they totally understand.

They guys Burton and Dickson...

LingLi!!! MY favourite travelling partner other than PeiQing.(that's becos they're the only ones who take the same direction of train when going home. Haha)

XiaoPing and her newly dyed hair... It rocks!

After that it was still considerd early and decided to catch the movie, "Funny People".

Yeap, I can't wait for school to start!!! I love all my friends yo!!!

Maximising my holidays even though there is attachment

Bernice Tan and I :) One of the few shots in my camera only...

Wow, I reached home not long from Pasir Ris! Took me 1.5hours to travel. SoundCard has a chalet in the midst of my attachment. Thankfully, I was working morning yesterday and afternoon today. I slept over there! Heehee.

I had yummy BBQ food(thanks fengyao), majiong sessions(managed to remember how to play. haha!) and simply just see everyone! Been missing out a lot as I could not make it for practices :( Nevermind, school is starting! Whee!

On Friday, I'll be going for overnight prawnning and on Saturday I'll be raya-ing!! At a blink of an eye, attachments will be over!!!!! It's already Thursday for goodness sake and I'm left with one more week! Woohoo!!

I've grown a year older

A very big thank you to ya'll out there!!!!! Won't wanna mention names specifically as I'm afraid that I would miss some out. HAHHA! But my heartfelt thanks goes out all to you! :) So the following is what I had been doing over the superb weekend!!! Firstly, we had a lantern walk after cgm at Mark's place :)

I love lantern/mooncake festival!!!!! Sadly, I have not been eating any mooncake :/ And this is the result of playing too much fire. It was an eventful celebration indeed :) Wahahaha.

On Saturday afternoon, I met up with the SC ladies for FAME!!! The movie was awesomeee!! Woohoo!

*sings* All the single ladies! (alamak, wrong lah!)

Only one single lady in the house! Yeah, and we were all still single during club crawl period. HHAHAHHAA. (okay please ignore me, its just that i feel left out. who knows ah. later all go out, and i'll be alone. as you can see, im just kidding)

Then it was service time! Celebrated Marcus' Birthday as well! Happy Birthday Boy!

Yesterday, met up with Phoebe for lunch!! Heehee. Thanks for being such a great cgl over the past 3 years dear! :)

And for dinner, met up with THEM! Heehee! Had dinner at Manhatten Fish Market. Was there for the first time... Not bad! But the company was better :) Following that, we made our way to Carlos' house(the usual hangout)

We played we light sticks. Beautiful!

We went downstairs and played with fire.(really make trouble that kind) Changed location once in awhile to avoid complains. You know these guys ah... Gunpowder is like their best friend -__- And finally, and random photo with SiShi! Hey babe, I know you did a lot like planning the location and making the card. So thank you!! Heehee. I love you!

So that's was my weekend!!! I always love the company of my friends! :)

Jing, since you're reading this, thanks for the video!!! Heeheehee!

Typical condo people... *rolls eyes*

You know, people who keep complaining even the slightest things? I used to get that very often when I stayed in SP. I have no idea why they have to get angry and make a big fuss about everything. Playing soccer at THE USUAL PLACE, slacking at the putting green, and the other things normal kids would do...

Well, it was about 10 in the night and a bunch of youngsters were just playing some lanterns and sparkles in the playground. And please, it was a day before Mid Autum Festival. Hmmm, if a funeral were to be conducted nearby and the prayer would be done all night, I wonder if they would complain.

I really cannot tolerate these kind of people. Am I being unreasonable in the first place? It wasnt THAT late and it's the festive season. They mentioned we never abide to the rules and all that. I remember I used to always refer to the rule book to check if theyEVER wrote that down. If not, that won't be considerd a rule.

Ok, I shall stop ranting here. I will wait till I become an adult before I seriously handle such people :)

I hate attachment!

As I was looking through the blogs and photos of all my friends, I think attachment sucks! Been missing out a lot! Sigh. Who ever came out with this idea to have attachments DURING the holidays. We've already studied like crazy for the exams and should really deserve the 7 week break! For nursing students? We've only got 3 pathetic weeks :/

Today's work was horrible as well. Of all days, I had a bad tummyache TODAY. Whenever I could, I would find a reason to squat(eg, check urine bag, adjust pt's shoes) to kind of relieve the pain. I didn't eat at all during the break due to the lost of appetite. My feet felt as if it was bitten all over. After work, I had headache and felt like vomiting. I felt quite warm so I suspected that I had fever. To top it all off, I could not go home and rest. I had to go to school.

Thankfully, Bernice went and bought me Panadol! I felt better after awhile, though not my best. I'm not blaming on the fact that I wasnt feeling well for whatever, but I am just so disappointed with myself. Argh, I just don't know how to begin.

Maybe I should not even start. But all I wanna say is that certain dreams can't come true, may not go your way, and we just gotta accept reality. Once again, I think I have been too confident. It's the time-to-humble-myself period. Why must I always learn things the hard way?

Then again, friendships are always the best thing around :) Will be going out with a couple of them during this period :) Yay!!

Maybe this is how I am welcomed to this thing called "Life".
