A brand new week!

I'm really sure this coming week will ZOOM past me! :D Despite having attachments, I'll be dropping by school for musical rehearsals!!! Woohoo! Ok, IF ONLY I lived near school lah (walking distance). That would say all the trouble of me walking from NYP to YCK Mrt station taking the train, alighting at BB and taking the bus from there :/ Total travelling time is about 1 hour @_@ I remember travelling from BBSS to home only take 30 minutes at most! The only time for me to travel from NYP to home within 30 minutes is to drive! Well, I'll be starting my practical SOON when my coming exams are over! Can't wait!!

Had musical photoshoot for the 2nd time yesterday! Heehee. I love dressing up! I LOVE the hairstyle! Thanks Ivy(i think that's her name =X)!! Well, sadly I can't show any photos taken by my hp. And urgh, I didn't bring my camera! ARGHHHH! Still, I hope the photos will look good! Whee! 19 more days!

Had my vocal training again as well! Woohoo! Loved it! Many words of affirmation :) Got to thank her for the advice. Well, I guess I have to really consider it because it ain't cheap! And first, let me complete my driving skills first before moving on to singing ;) Though right now I'm so inspired! Can I do it? Can I do it?

After the photoshoot, had to go to TTSH to accompany Sharlene(one of the SA dancers) as she had chest pain, SOB and palpatations. It was a good expirence. But you know everywhere in emergency we have to wait minimun 1 hour -___- I hope when I grow up, I am able to do something on my side. Heh. I remember while waiting to see the doctor when I fractured my arm. I told Mommy, "Why do you call this an emergency department when everyone needs to wait so long?". She scolded me for making that remark.

Attended service alone today. It was good! Reminded me of the good old days :) I mean it really feels different with no one that you know looking at what you're doing and all. Haha. And I was blessed and impacted by what pastor shared. It's all about speaking and visualising! I am also really excited for the church in the years to come! Of course, I'm glad to be part of it all these years! It has been an amazing journey!

Certain things still gives me a rush of adrenaline and shortness of breaths. It's ok Maria. Time will heal :)

TGIF, like seriously!

Before that, Happy Birthday Bernice! Which was yesterday. I would remember it because it was one of the happiest day of my life! (ok, it's not that drastic)

Well, we had vocal training and the warm ups were super good. I did not have such good vocal warm ups in a long time :) Looks like I have lost all the things in choir and right now I am getting them back! I am really looking forward to the actual day! Hope I can put up a great show! 21 more days! I can't wait for tomorrow's vocal training as well! Whoopee!

So thank God it's Friday. Time really flies. The weekends are here! And one more week at 41. The most pleasent words that I heard today was from my lecturer was...

"So far you three passed these 2 weeks. Keep it up."
So woohoo! No need to worry about failure or whatever. I mean, with her tone and choice of words, I thought I was going to fail! But no doubt, she is seriously a good lecturer and I have learnt A LOT from her :) Well, in the near future if anyone were to praise me for the good skills I performed, I have her to thank! I just think everyone needs to get used to her to really appreciate the things she has done! Ok, the funny thing is that she keeps having phone calls from her friend/relatives asking her about entering popular Poly courses with their not low O level points. Aiyah, just come to nursing lah. LOL.

Ok I need to catch up on my sleep, like seriously!

Seriously! Pfffft!

Tiring but fun Sunday

Today, O level results were released!!!!!! So about 2 years ago, I received mine and was super disappointed about it. I had news in the morning when I was still at home when someone told me about it. I was upset and cried in my living room... But guess what, the results are not bothering me now! So if any of you guys are upset about your results, just remember that 2 years later a few points will not affect you a single bit! (unless it has disallowed you to move on to the next level of education)

What's making me worry right now is attachment! Don't even get me started there. Everyday just gets worse and worse. When can I see any hope? :(

Anyway I went to the zoo with Nicole yesterday! It was a good experience, bringing a 5 year old out and spending your undivided attention towards her! I concluded that I am fit to be a mother! (ok, just kidding!) First, I had a cycle past Xiao Guilin. That is what I see everytime I cycle to the MRT station! :)

The naughty girl and I!

ROAR like the tiger!

I wish I could keep her there forever. Wahahaha.

A timer shot!

The animal show which was so-so to me...

Paying our respects to the late Ah Meng.

We went to the Children's Zoo which was the highlight of the trip! I enjoyed it as well :P

I like the new water playgound! If only we brought our swimming costumes. Hahaha. Ideal plan: Dad plays at the water playgroud with the children, and Mom sits and look after the bags while playing NDS.

Nicole suggested we have self-timer shots again!!!

She insisted that she wanted to see the elephants the whole trip!

After the whole zoo thing, I had dinner with her family and we went to vivocity!

I must say it was great to go out and all rather than staying at home. Urgh, 9 more days of attachment!  Two weeks more to face the moment of truth as well. And less than a month to the musical! I really hope that everything will fall in place for me.

It's good to go out :)

Maybe not, when you start eating like no one's business... (look at my jawline!! :D)

So who's fault is it? :/

Hahaha, but it was a day well spent. Met up with JingWei after work... Though I was super tired on the way there, I needed to just go out and enjoy myself :) And I did!! Woohoo! JingWei bought a pink Canon Ixus camera! Wahahaha. I am VERY jealous of her. Well, all the "pink instincts" are starting to come out!

From now on, I LOVE PINK! After that, we watched "Alvin and the Chipmunks 2" I love the Chipettes!! Girl power! Hehehe.

I was really tired and slept for 10 hours, but it was all worth it :)

I need to socialise!

Just had my 3rd day in 41 and it wasn't so bad! (compared to the 2nd day, as I met a couple of nasty people. pffft!) Heh, managed to learn a lot blah blah blah. Honestly, I don't like how the lecturers force us to ask the staff to allow us to do certain things. I'm not so bold. It doesn't feel right for me to just intefere their work, especially when they are busy doing something. At least for today, I took a step of faith and managed to complete whatever objectives I mentioned to my lecturer today! *applause* Unfortunately, she didn't pop by in the evening -__- Just when I thought I could impress her for the first time, at least. Sigh.

I think that's when I need to depend on the HS to shine :) I believe tomorrow will be great!

For now I'm getting the hang of the working life. I know how it feels when people describe that they have no life, with no direction to go. And the most important thing I need to do is to socalise. I need to go out and have fun. Unfortunately, I can't again, because exams are drawing near and I need to put in the extra effort as musical rehearsals are gonna be intensive! Rats! Nevermind, 3 weeks will be over soon. Maybe I need a C soon...

Okay, working morning tomorrow! Hope time will fly! Heh.. Treasure life everyone! :D

Hello Ward 41

Once again, attachment starts tomorrow! I just hope these 3 weeks will FLY because I have the musical to look forward to :) Well, not only do I start my attachment but I start studying for exams. Yup, this time round I want to be prepared!!! I am also blogging it because when I tell people I wanna do certain things, the possiblilty of me doing it is higher.

Kinda excited about attachment actually(as usual) but I dread meeting people who may not be that hospitable. All I can do is hope for the best! Just hope that my face this time round can make people engage me! (I realise its superficial, but true!!!!! everyone is judged based on their looks.) I hope I can take case tooooooooooo!

Need to wake up when its still dark. Urgh. Hahaha. Oh, not forgetting that I have to squeeze into the bus with school children when working morning shift. And I'm going to donate blood after that! The best thing is there is no queue when it comes to donating blood at NUH. Heh..

I'm sure most of you are going back to school as well right?! So all the best! Ok, except those in uni, O and A levelers waiting for results. Hahaha.

Was talking to Malcolm who was stuck in London Heathrow due to some flight cancellation. He told me he watched Oliver!!! Then, I went to YouTube and watched the movie version! Nice! But I decided to stop halfway if not I would have difficulty walking up tomorrow :/ I hope more musicals come to Singapore!

Alright, I shall pack my room now. Wish me luck!

Happy New Year Everybody!!!

And the last thing I ate in 2009 was ice cream!!! Times are bad, and food tastes especially good when I have moments like this... I hope I can stop it and focus on my diet this whole month of January! I told Mom that I plan to bring food to the hospital daily. I guess, I can work that out! :D

The first person that I talked to in 2010 is JingWei over MSN! She has been a listening ear to me and keeps me sane.

Just want to thank you for the encouragements you have given to me! I know I talk too much about myself, but really thanks for listening and being there for me! :)

2009 is of the past already. A new year starts today. I believe that 2010 will be awesome. You can test me again but guess what, I will still stand strong! :)
