Diary of a Wimpy Kid Movie

Yay yay!! The movie is coming out on 25th March 2010! Anyone wants to watch it with me?! :D If there isn't, I'm going to fly to WestMall one day after working in the Polyclinic next week. Like hello? I read all 4 four books and how can I miss out the movie? :D

My best friend auditioned to play the role of Greg, but she didn't pass :( Well, if she were to be in the movie, I bet more people will be more interested to watch it!! Too bad for the producers with their pathetic sense of taste.. They can't identify true talents. THEIR LOST!


Today marks the end of my 3 week holiday :( Honestly speaking, I would have been excited if I were to work in the ward. Oh well, who knows? I may enjoy my time in the Polyclinic and Hougang Chalet :) Which reminds me! Results coming out anytime soon!!! Argh, I just hope that I won't fail and take supp paper or repeat any module.

Had my post-CNY shopping. Very late, I know. But yeah! I'm quite happy with the purchases made :D I know that I am blessed. As I splurge on the other side, I shall control my spending and be very tight about it over here.

Long distance cycling tires me

Went cycling with my cell group at East Coast park!! :D It was fun and challenging! Heehee.

So, we cycled about 20km?? Wow! That's long!! So I guess I managed to shed some fats away? NOTTTTTTTTTTT!

Had Macdonalds and ice cream!! Yummy! I could not resist the temptation lah. But alright, I gotta watch my eating. Ok, I'm banning myself from unhealthy food!!! After that we tried Koi!!! Yummy!! Love the pearls.

Haha. The last time I drank Koi was when the SA officers bought the performers a cup EACH after the musical!!! Sooooo nice of them! :)

Speaking of that, I miss those days, once again :(

Argh, HuiYu and PeiQing are flying OFF to Japan!! So envious! Hmph! Hahaha. Mommy is going to Germany as well!!!!!!!! SiShi is going to Xiamen :( What am I going to do? Spend my time in a Polyclinic and a Mental Institute. And then, BOOM! Year 3...

Random, but I miss my hair :( Shall wait for it to grow!!!!!!

Today I went to Vivo City with Nicole and her Mom!! Brought Nic around as her Mom was chilling out with her colleagues. Time flies and 4 years has passed! I still remember she wasn't that big when I first met her. Heehee. She's turning 5 coming Monday!!

It wasn't too long when I was 5 years old as well. Going to Calvary Pandan Kindergarden, wearing that uniform with the lil pocket on my tummy, singing songs during assembly time, holding Mommy's hand, disturbing my brother who was in Primary 5, sleeping on the waterproof mattress worrying that I may pee in my sleep, shouting for Mommy to clean my backside after pooping("Mommy tissue paper!" it's our secret language! hehe.), Daddy coming back at 7pm daily, having dinner as a family together everyday and many, many more...

If only I could go back to those moments for a day! How cool will that be?!

BBSS Choir Camp 2010

Just returned from the camp. I didn't intend to stay there actually, but it was going to be troublesome for the teachers to walk up to the main gate for me and my bicycle late in the night. So, I slept on chairs and tables. Hahaha. Ok, I'm spoilt. I seriously cannot tahan sleeping on hard things :/ That's why I left at 5.30am. I feel good right now, after taking a nice shower!

The main purpose to go back was to have practices with the Alumnus!! Not bad I must say! Independent and all. I think we are especially close :) Remember those times where we were still small in numbers? Yeah, I guess it was the time we bonded the most!

Taken together with our dearest conductor, Miss Yee! :D Wow, she's been having us for 7 years already!!

The current choir is amazingly huge!! :O Heard them singing and I loved it. Urgh, if only we could be like that when I was still in BBSS :( Joined them a couple of songs though for fun. Their concert pieces are mostly familiar songs! *envy*

I joined them for one of their activity - the night walk. And made a couple of new friends! Haha!

Presenting Ryan, Celine and Megan :) Jeez, I look so big and old already! During the night walk, I was actually scared by a bunch of 15-year-olds. I took like extra precaution just in case any of the sec 3s were to just scare me from one corner. In the end, there wasn't any sudden scare kinda thing -__- So I looked stupid in front of the sec 1s. But we had fun! :D

When I was cycling back home, I saw people heading to work so early in the morning! I just thought that only lazy people like us students sleep late and wake up late, use internet and waste life away. It's the hardworking people who wake up so, so early in the morning every single day! I am never going to complain anymore when I have to wake up early for morning shifts. Hmm, I should also have the discipline to wake up early in the remaining 6 days of my holiday. ARGGGGHHH! 6 days!!

Haha, I still remember JingWei caught their series in Melb, and was telling me how amazing their songs are... The first song I heard was "Don't Stop Believing" and it was awesome!! Little did I know that they sing a couple of my favourite songs like, "Defying Gravity", "On My Own", "Maybe This Time". Those Broadway musical songs, if you realised. Heehee. But yay! At least now they are famous and I can talk to people about it! Going to watch their season soon!! ;)

I have yet to have a day to simply laze around at home all day :/ Argh, maybe I'm Maria. It's so not to just stay at home!! But ok lah, better enjoy my holidays before it is too late!! Oh I just remembered, I just passed the halfway mark of my holiday. *great* 10 more days till attachment!!! Better treasure it!!

Fashion In The Sky

The event was AWESOME(but hot)!! Kudos to Jamie for organising it! :) Anyway, just some runway shots I took just to try em out! Not good, I must say. HAHA. But I did learn something!

So I was involved in this event as a performer! Doing some reflection now... To be honest, my Medley wasn't good :( Play like all the wrong chords!!! Grrr. Well, I've thought of things to do before performing!!
1) Check your mic and guitar.
2) If you practiced standing, performing standing. Not sitting.
3) Make sure you have bodily distance from the mic stand
4) When practicing, don't keep looking at the chords you're playing
5) Pretend that you're playing to yourself, in a calm and relaxed manner

Hmmm, but I felt that I made it up when harmonising for HuiShan's song :) It was last minute somemore! But not too bad~ And the finale, with all the singers. Singing such a power power song for the first time. I think my voice is too sharp for such songs though. Heh. But it was fun!!!

Sleep-deprived Holidays

Ok, I know the medley piece is not that perfect but we'll try to improve over the next few videos! :D

So over the week I have been having all sorts of activities. One thing for sure, I must make it a point to go home early! No more late nights for me! @_@ Cannot tahan already. For example,

had Mahjong session last night till the wee hours of 6am!!!

Ok, though I didn't play, I stayed up with them. The other times staying out late is having tau huay supper with the performers of FITS on Monday, OPM on Tuesday, and then this Mahjong craze on Thursday!

I better make my holidays fruitful!!! Still have 2 more weeks of it! I guess it's not too late to do anything. I'm going for a walk the coming Monday at MacRitchie!! Also, a lil getaway and a mission trip!! Ahh, that's what I'm talking about! :D Not forgetting about going back to school for SoundCard practices!

Time to have an "early" night!! Ciao!
