After being a student nurse, today was the 3rd time I helped someone out during a crisis. Well, SoundCard was having games where a little accident happened. Someone bumped his head against the wall and fainted!! At first, I thought it was some kind of joke like what the SoundCard peeps would usually do. Who knew, it was for real!
So I rushed towards him and checked for his response. No response. However, his face was twiching. Still, I went to feel for his carotid pulse, ready to perform CPR when needed. Thankfully, his pulse was felt and breathing was present. I think he had a seizure. After a good 5 minutes, he was conscious. He's fine now :)
It was an experience to remember. Slowly, I learn how to react better in such situations.
I have no intention to tell many people about this, but I just wanna remember this. Am glad that once again, I played a part in helping others.

At this very moment, I feel like doing all these things :(

This happens when idiots don't return their trays after use
I have no idea what is wrong with us nowadays... I mean, when I visited Germany, it's just a culture to return the trays.
And I think I know why.... Remember in Primary school, we were always taught to return our plates to the respective stalls. Well, this habit stayed on till Secondary school, where some barbarian would just evolve from nowhere, starting to influence people(in a bad way of course). What did they do?? They bended the rules and did not bother to return plates. And somehow along the way, people just follow them!!! Talk about compliance man...
I don't intend to blame anyone, but it's not too late to change your habit!! All it takes is just to clear after you have eaten!! It is also easier for the next group of people who will be using the same place! ITS THAT SIMPLE!
Disclaimer: What ever I have said is through objective assessment, and is not evidence-based.

Don't blame me for being fat. It's life!
Just came back not long from church choir practice!! It was tiring but I'm pretty excited about the song we're gonna present during Asia Conference! Can you imagine. Singing in a choir, in front of about 20,000 or more people?! Heehee.
Oh, just to share what I did last Sunday. Like finally, I had the chance to just chill out for a whole day @_@ We were at Vivo City to celebrate Wei Nian's birthday!!! Had lunch at King Louis. And oh my goodness. The food is super whacked up. It's totally meant for meat lovers like moi!! This is a portion for 4-5 people... Consists of Chicken breast, porklion, fried chicked, beef steak, lots of carrots, beans, wedges, baked apples and a bowl of salad!!
I'm gonna try the more expensive feast one day... Any takers? :D Heehee, SiShi and I!! Ahh, I miss those times once again, sitting beside her during lessons everyday!
And a group photo!!! Nice!! :D
Looking forward to more gatherings like this!! They make me sane...
For skills lab today, I tried chrysanthemum tea with thickener added in. It tastes HORRIBLE! It had like the consistency of vomit. Urgh.
And finally, I understand how patient dreads eating their food at times. Sigh...
I'm going home early after school tomorrow to catch up with all my work!! Hmph!! I need to buck up! More and more things coming my way!!!!!!!!
Praise the Lord!! Received official news that I got in!! Heehee.

Helping
Hahaha. I just came back with the secondary school peeps!! Well, something happened in Vivo City. We were happily chatting outside Candy Empire when the automatic glass door shattered!!! A girl (i think about 5), was beside the door and she got injured.
Many people began to crowd around her. I was hesitating if I should go help out, and I did... Then, I assessed her. She only suffered superficial injuries(Thank God) but kept crying and crying. The shattering of glass must be a very horrifying experience for her :( Her parents were not around the first 10 minutes, so I stayed by her side. Well, I don't exactly know what to do when someone's body is covered with glass, but what I did was to allay her anxiety. I held on to her hands, and she just grabbed on to mine. I also asked her if she has pain in any parts of her body, worrying that she might have severe injuries noticed. Her parents came and got really frantic(dont know why they left her there alone in the first place -_-) Finally, the paramedics came. I merely reported her superficial injuries. It was my first time talking to a paramedic. (LingLi, go be one... I think they are so COOL!!)
One thing that disgusted me was this Aunty that kept shouting at the duty facilities officer of Vivo City. They needed to sweep away the glass to gain back the access for the shoppers, but that Aunty said that it was destroying of evidence -__- Anyway there is a CCTV at the glass door area, so I think investigation would be easy. She also started shouting at their maid, saying that she was not responsible blah blah. I mean, the situation is already so bad, and it would help if you'll just shut up and treat the primary problem, which is the girl's injury and emotions. It seem like the more that Aunty shouted, the more scared the girl was.
After the paramedics came, I walked away. HAHA!
Am writing it here so that I can remember this event!!! I always feel a sense of satisfaction when I help people. I think I am sucha busybody!! By the way, this is one of the reason why I wanna be a nurse. Hahaha!
Poor girl, she's gonna have nightmares of this incident :(
