Had the preview of "Great World Family Fun" for the client yesterday! I'm glad it somehow went smoothly, but not perfect(on my part). Arghhh! Was pretty nervous and felt inferior. I wonder how I will do on the actual day but I'll just whack lah! Hahahaha!! Yeah, that is what I do most of the time! Hehehehehe.
After this show, I have 2 National Day events in Woodlands & Tampines!! Crazy huh. But I know it's gonna be really fun! Wheeeee! Can't wait to dress up and all! And I prefer this to Great World because it's more heartland-ish, more aunties and uncles will be around. Hahaha. Also, just soaking into the National Day spirit!
Lastly, I'm super excited about the first practice of NYP's anniversary musical this Saturday! Woohoo! Hope I can do really well with the role given to me. I will do my best! It's really all I ever wanted, period.
Okay I'm exposing too much of my personal life/desires here. Hah!
I love my life and I can't ask for more, I think.....

Hmmm
Did a "last office" today. That's 3 people this week. What a week! Phew! But, I'm quite sad over a particular one. When she arrives(in the ward), I would specially go up to her and start talking and waving at her. And then she will have this really slow reaction but excited kind of face. Looks like I won't be seeing anymore of her :(
I just found out today that my colleague was actually a nurse who looked after my grandma for at least 2 years in St Luke's Hospital!!! I just mentioned my grandma's name and describe how she looked like and there, she remembered and starting blabbering all the things related to her! It's really heart-warming to hear such things from nurses who once looked after your family.
And there I was, ashamed of myself. As an adolescent, I rarely visited her even though I would actually PASS BY the hospital whenever I go to school! All I cared about was me, myself and I. If you ask me what would be one of the thing I regret in life, it would be not showing love to my grandma. Well, I can't say much for the others because they passed away when I was way younger. But to her, sigh. If only I could turn back in time.
So that's my pledge; To look after all the geriatric patients really well like how I would want to treat my grandma.
I know she's smiling right back at me :)

How I spend my rest day
Made purchases! My heart hurts a bit from spending a lil too much but I'm happy!! :D Firstly, got my Lion King ticket!!
Yeah I know I was telling the whole world that I didn't wanna watch but oh well. JUST WATCH LAH. Anyway it has been a few months since I last watched a world-class musical. Hehehe. Hope it will be worth my money! :D
Decided not to watch "The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber", because I though it would be rather boring :/ Yes, I appreciate his songs but I'm quite disappointed that the cast isn't from London. I looked at the website and got a peek, and the stage isn't very fantastic. So give it a miss lor. Anyway the cheapest ticket is $95. Besides, I'm too busy with work and rehearsals. Hahahaha!
While like randomly researching on Lord Andrew, I saw that he has a new musical, "The Wizard of Oz"!!!! Started to youtube and all, and found all the songs! Hehehe. Similar to his "The Sound of Music", the lead role is actually a winner of a competition broadcasted on BBC! Danielle Hope, 19 the winner and is playing the role of Dorothy. Argh! So envious! Looking at such people makes me wonder what on Earth I am doing now. Hahaha.
That aside, I became really addicted to the songs and 2 days later(today), I bought the CD!!! Wahahahaha!!!
After all the shopping, I had another rehearsal! Quite excited and a lil stressed at the same time! Hope I can do well!!!! :D

Finally
Another blog post titled "Finally". Because finally I am chilling in my room on a Sunday evening!! Also had a good dinner with my parents downstairs!! I've not been doing that the past month :/ This is bad! Very bad. Actually, since I started my shift work, I have been working every Sunday, except once, on the day of the ward party. I wanna claim my AL sooooooon!! And oh, I waiting for the 3 PHs in August! Wahahahaha!
