I ought to blog more

So I'm forcing myself to blog right now :) I am supposed to be in the midst of packing for my Melbourne trip.  But I have not even started taking out the luggage. Argh! I seriously can't wait!! What spurred me to go over once again? I don't know. But I know I'm gonna have awesome plus crazy time with my BFF! I can't wait to share our adventures! And oh, please remind me to eat like a dog :)

Celebrated my darling SiShi's birthday on Friday. Though it was just going out and catching up, I enjoyed thoroughly  Ok, I admit I was quite tired from work too. Woke up at 5am leh!! Seesh!! I'm ALWAYS waking up at 5am! Soooo tiredddd.

I hope she is using the nail dryer we bought! I'm so awesome to come up with such a gift! Ok, whatever. Hehehe. I still remember that we used to stick to each other. Like sitting side by side in class foreverrrr, hanging out at the concourse during recess time. Then we were "separated" in between but yay! Right now she is still my partner! I think she makes me believe in love... Because I used to be so affectionate and I think she was pretty scared of it. But now the affection is being reciprocated! Ok, I'm talking rubbish.

Forgot to post this the previous time. Got the DVD of Sinfonia 2012. I didn't major screw up lah. But I don't think it was well done also :( Nevermind, everyone learns from experiences! :) At least, I have a video footage of me looking pretty slim in a black dress :P When I grow old, I'm gonna look back at all these good old times!

This cardigan was from last year's NYP musical! I was playing Sue Boey! I didn't exactly dare to wear it previously but since autumn is round the corner, let me add some dull colours and cover my skin more. Haha, trying to act fashionable :P

Once again, my birthday is coming up! The reason for having an ultimate wish is to just have this wishful thinking, yet knowing that it would never ever happen. Then again, I should thank God for every little blessing that has been upon me :)

Wishful thinking? I hope God can prove me wrong.

So that was what I basically did on Saturday! It was a really tedious process. But I did it within a couple of hours so heck! We had sooooo much fun! I'm looking forward to another recording! Keeps me going!! :D

Went for some fashion event in a club on Sunday night. Mainly was to support JDC. The fashion event was really boomz!! My eyes were just feasted on the models and their clothes. The music and lights enhanced it so well! Got to catch up with people that I didn't see for months too!

Woohoo! Update!

I had so much going on, that's why I didn't really update. This is bad! Seriously bad! But at least I'm updating now. Heh heh. So many events, I don't know where to start. Hmmm. Okay...

I'll be attending KK's D&D again this year. I have no idea why my colleagues doesn't wanna go. They were desperately looking for people and I volunteered myself. Heh Heh. Let's see how good the other dancers are.

Celebrated Carlos' Birthday on Hari Raya. Went down after my morning shift. Phew! No joke!!! I called the ward later to ask for leave. Hehehe. It was a good gathering :)

Joined JDC in some flashmob dance! I had fun learning the steps and pretending to be a dancer. Wahahaha.

Had a performance on Saturday AFTER my night shift is this was how I look like. I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF! I was able to do full make-up and hair MYSELF! Heehe. The glitter was just spammed. That's why it was uneven but HECK. Yay yay! I'm dying to get the video so that I can evaluate and improve myself :/ But I thought it was good! The sound uncle was a pro in making me sound echo-y and good! :D

Say hello to my new bangs! If you have not noticed. Hehehe. I initially was quite depressed over it, but I think it's fine when I style and comb it well. *bimbo* Okay so after that performance, I slept for 4 hours before joining the girls for Wan Ting's Birthday celebration!!! We had Korean BBQ! It was sooooo good! Hehehe.

We ate too much that we became like this. Hehehe.

Okay. I guess now I'm more or less settled? No more major stuff going on for me at the moment. Other than 2 work related projects, I have 1 onco dinner performance, singing lesson and recording this Saturday to work on. I hope I'll have these few weeks/months to rest.

So Many

I've been doing so many crazy things recently! But to me, it's still not enough! So I decided to join Juicez in some flashmob event! Had practice yesterday and it was so good dancing all my sadness out! :D Though I was kind of noob, I think I managed to catch up and very soon I will do it! Thanks to uncle for giving me the extra confidence!

Anyway, I attended Yvonne's ROM last Saturday! I swear I was going to cry. Heee. So happy that she has found someone! I wish them bliss till the day they die!(as quoted in the vows)

I only represented the family cos Mom is overseas and Dad had to teach. Zzzzz.

Celebrated Lina's birthday by going to Gardens By The Bay. I hope she had a great time!! :D It was just my little way of blessing her. We 3 had fun!!

We went to both of the observatories and I love cloud forest more!! It was like a huge maze/track! I can imagine the money spent to maintain the place.

Happy Birthday to my best friend Jing Wei! You have really been a best friend to me by listening to my crap and sharing your junk to me as well. I wish that we will be best friends forever and stick to each other no matter what phases of life we each go through. Thank you for accepting the person I am. All the best in your honors! Just chiong for 1 year! And come back soon! What am I talking about?! I'm going over! Heee! I really can't wait to spend personal time with you. At the mean time, chiong hard and I'll see you during your semester break! Sending loads of hugs!!

Ok, one last thing! 4 of us tried for KK's D&D dance competition. I know we won't get in but we had fun! Esp when I only learned the steps on Monday. Waahhaha.

Krabi 2012

The only thing worth remembering is that I came back sunburnt! Ok, overall I thought it was an awesome trip! I enjoyed every single day! Hehehe. Because usually when I go overseas, especially when I go over to be with Malcolm, I would be dying to go home everyday! But in Krabi, I didn't have that feeling :P

Day 1:

I had problems at the airport. Zzzzz. Upon checking in, we realised that we didn't get the check-in luggage tickets! So first, I was so worried about my carry-on overweight luggage. Then we sorted out our liquids, fearing it might exceed 1litre. Sheryne went off to post a parcel and there I was being paranoid! I suddenly realised that I had THREE swiss army knives with me! ARGH! After thinking, we left it at the left baggage and managed to ask Valerie to collect it for us later during that day. Hehe. She saved the day. Then, we headed to the gates, and heard our names for the last call!! Argh! We ran like mad! Thankfully we managed to board the plane :)

Arrived in Krabi International Airport, wait for about 20minutes before the hotel staff came and picked us up. We were paranoid again, fearing that we would be stranded at the airport but he came and we were driven to the RIGHT PLACE and not some hut to be kidnapped. Hehe.

The room turned out to be so awesome but it was a little too transparent. Hehe. No opaque doors were around!

Settled for awhile and then realised there wasn't any food place near the hotel. Walked for 50minutes before finding a small shop and bought coke, chips blah blah. We went back, had cup noodles for lunch. Hahahaa! Then at night we took the hotel's van to Ao Nang. Didn't have enough time to buy things :( Yeah so we had dinner and looked around.

Day 2:

The real Krabi experience begins! We booked a tour via the hotel to Phi Phi Island. Thankfully the hotel provides such service if not we'll be stranded in the room the whole time doing NOTHING. Ok, this is the part where I will share the photos...

Beautiful!!! So the journey was like this. Bamboo island- Snorkel around, get used to the sun and sand... MET CARLOS AND SHAUN! :D Misson accomplished! We kinda planned to meet them and we did and that was the only time we could :/ So yay! We snorkeled together! Maya Beach- A beautiful place where a movie was filmed. Felt so much like paradise.

Pileh Lagoon- I loved this place even more!! Seriously words can't describe it. And the water was so so so so clear.

We had lunch at Phi Phi Don... Slacked at the beach and then we went to somewhat the middle of the sea to snorkel even more! Too bad the underwater camera didn't work! :( But I LOVED it!!! I want to swim with the fishes again!! I'll be waiting for Maldives! Hehehe.

Went back to the hotel, had some rest, wrote postcards...

Rented DVDs to watch... Went star gazing. Wow, the stars were so beautiful. Just so awed by nature :)

Day 3:

Went for a free tour by the hotel, to the Emerald Pool and Hot Waterfall!!

Everything felt like a high-class resort, just that all those were NATURAL.

My camera went out of batt :/ I love the setting of the hot waterfall. I could climb around like a monkey :D The water felt so warm and good. Ahhhh.

Had our last dinner in the hotel. Food was not too bad... Dressed up a little. Hehehe.

Watched a movie again after dinner! And slept super early. Well rested :)

Yeah so that was how my trip was like. I LOVED every single moment of it! Hehe.

Straight Line

I'm kinda enjoying my life right now. No active things going on. But let me list the upcoming ones. Urgh. Ok, there's nothing to sulk about. YAYYYY!

1) Dance competition for D&D

2) ISO (I have NO IDEA what it stands for!)

3) Cancer survivor dinner

4) Singing exam!!!!

Looking forward to all these! Hee. Makes me love my life even more!! But hold it, hold it.... On top of all these, I'm going overseas!!!!!!!!!

In 2 days' time, I'll be going to KRABI! Wooohooo! Finally I sort of get to have my dream holiday! I keep dreaming that I'm in a room, looking out into the sea, hearing the waves and feeling the sea breeze. Ahhhh. Sheryne and I will I tons of fun! I swear! :D

This is the best image I could find on google at the area that we're gonna stay. I will take even better pictures! Heehee! I'm going there in 2 days' time! Can't wait! Woohoohoo!

Then in September I'll be flying to Melb to be with my BFF! Finally just a solo trip with just the both of us! Heehee! Though I kinda regret that I have 7 days there only :(
