I love spontaneous plans!!! I stayed back in the ward to settle some stuff, then decided to drop by Cheryl's office! Plan was to pick Myra(her daughter) up. Ended up following her home in the cab, having dinner at her place, going to The Star to get a cake and then celebrating her birthday back at her place! Reached home at 10.50pm(when I was supposed to end work at 3.30pm). Hohoho.

Anyway it was lovely! :) Happy Birthday Cheryl!

Salvation

Today after morning shift, my parents and I made our usual annual visit to the graveyard to visit all my grandparents!! I meant their graves. Hahaha. It's funny how I would imagine them as my patients, talking, laughing, physically supporting them when I think of them! Anyway that explains why I love my > 65 years old patients!

While grave hopping, I started to ask my parents how did they accept Christ and received salvation. You know... Living as a tradtional chinese their whole life... They could just say the sinner's prayer the last few months of their life! It was through my parent's testimony and the love of God. It's really amazing.

A few months ago, one of my patients received Christ in her last days. Her niece brought her pastor along, and she prayed the sinner's prayer. I wasn't involved in it but I secretly heard what was conversed. The moment that prayer was made, I felt peace in my heart. And that joy... I can't describe that joy but it's prolly inner joy? I felt heaven rejoicing too.

I hope one day I will have the chance to lead some of my patients to Christ, like how my parents did to my grandparents. And all I gotta do is to serve and love them from the bottom of my heart. May Jesus be reflected in the things I do :)

Gonna have a song presentation during communion time in service tomorrow! I hope I can bring out the essence of the song and may the people be touched by the beauty of God's love.

KL Trip with my Poly Mates :)

So we had this random trip to KL and yes, it was a good break for me! But too short!!!! Sigh. Now, I'm looking forward to my Taiwan trip in May!!! YAY! Ok, photos!!!!

When we arrived at KLIA we were deciding train, bus or taxi and decided on bus. I like last minute decisions! Wahahaha.

We settled at Bar B Q Plaza for dinner and it was awesome!!! The dishes displayed below costs 52.90RM!!!!

Ahhh! We had 2 king sized beds! But pq preferred to squeeze in. But too bad she didn't in the end. I thought I could have a king sized bed all to myself with the air-con blasting.

I freaked out when I saw Sephora! I bought an NYX item and used my card to collect points!(my card can be used in sg & msia) That was when something happened! The whole NYX eye shadow shelf collapsed and fell and hit pq's nose! Didn't take a photo because I wasn't in Singapore. Hah! So, what an experience!!

 Went to pamper ourselves with pedicure done by Burmese! I'm in heaven~~

We went to Chinatown at 12 midnight and everything was closed!!!! But luckily they managed to buy some stuff before some of the shops pack up.

Enjoyed the trip generally :) It's nice just to roam around the city area. I think I have not really experienced it before BKK and KL cos all my holidays were all on sight-seeing. Anyhow, it was fun with the girls tooooo!!

AM I DREAMING?

Ok, I kinda just woke up from my nap(night shift tonight) and was doing my routine email check for my results. Yes. I JUST RECEIVED IT!

I GOT A FREAKING DISTINCTION!!! 137/150.

I was trembling while logging into the ABRSM website. And the moment I saw it, I started to ask myself if I was dreaming. APPEARENTLY I'M NOT! LALALALLALALA! I seriously wanna thank God!! I TOTALLY DID NOT EXPECT A DISTINCTION. No one ever said that I will get a distinction(except pastor Angela who doesn't do music and has never heard me before). I don't know man. I knew the mistakes I made during the exam. But still a distinction? It's really amazing!

I hope they won't send another email saying that it is another person's results. Hehehe. You know... All my life. I never got a distinction in anything. Ds have lah. But no distinction. Wow. 

Ok, now I just gotta wait for the transcript :) Can't wait to see the examinar's thoughts.

I know I know why! Actually I sang like crap during my sight singing. And I could see the examinar shaking her head!!! Maybe she was thinking, "Urgh, your sight singing sucks... But your pieces are ok. Should I give a distinction or not?!". She was prolly in a dilemma.

Hehhee. ANYHOW, I GOT A DISTINCTION AND PRAISE THE LORD FOR THAT!!!!!

Nicole's 8th Birthday

I just wanted to have dinner with them and it happened to be Nic's birthday!!! Yay!

I was just so tempted to trick Ian to eat this chilli. Ok, I will do that to my kid. MUAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Anyway, Ian is such a darling. Must treasure him at his age now. Cos I think I will be scolding him about everything(like his sister) when he grows up. Oops.

So yay! I hope to have more of this dinner dates!! I think I had been stuck with too much work and singing so right now I hardly meet my friends up for dinner. I hope I'll have more time the next few months!(no i won't!!!)

She was willing to take a photo with me. Anyway that was prolly the last time I will get to see her unless she comes up and visit me when she has her appointment or if I bump into her downstairs! One of my favourite lady and someone that I had built a good relationship with! Gonna miss her :(

See, that's why I love my job and that keeps me going on!!

Updates~

Gosh I can't stop thinking about my exam! Arghhhhh! I seriously don't know what result I will get! Ok, let me imagine the different reactions when the results come out...

Fail: What the #*$&%@... Ok lor. Bo bian. Retake lor! But yay! Not so stressful because it's not grade 8.

Pass: Sigh, I really thought I could have done better BUT YAY! AT LEAST I GOT A CERT! Hmmm, so how now? Move on to grade 8 or take it slowly?

Merit: YESH!!! :DDDD THANK YOU GOD!!! (I would happily post it on fb and tell my teacher as well!) Really by God's grace!!

Distinction: (That's out of the question. So don't bother thinking. HAHAHHAHA).

Before me and my teacher parted the last time, she was like, "Oh, if you really do well we can jump to grade 8. I have scores. You can get them from me. Then after that you can move on to diploma where you would need to write assignments." Erm, like seriously? Am I going to move that far? First, I need to settle on my grade 5 theory before starting any of this. So yeah. I hope the results will come out soon!!

Urgh! I have been having 2 dreams related to the singing exams already! I can't stop thinking about it!! And I kinda miss my teacher too. Hehe. It's been 10 days since I last saw her. I really admire her. If only I could lead her kind of life. Knowing so much music and teaching people... Sometimes I wished I could be more talented and smarter :/ Ok, stop it Maria. You are leading a great life now :)

Anywaysssss, I'm going to KL with my poly friends next week! Can't wait for this little getaway. I just wanna lie on the bed and chat the whole day. Hehe. I hope to post photos here after the trip!! This blog is seriously getting more and more boring. Zzzzz.

So, LifeUtd is MOVING!!!! WOOHHOOO! Can't wait for the next time to be awesome!~ Turning 2 in May so it's pretty amazing! God is indeed good :) Easter is round the corner and we've been looking up on the work of the cross and the power of resurrection! I believe that this season I will be transformed and my mind will be renewed! At the same time, the music team will be greater!! Ok, that's pretty random~

Workwise what am I waiting for? MY BOND ENDS 30TH MARCH FYI. I am waiting for any scholarship oppurtunities. My manager said that there's a chance for me. And I really hope so! At the meantime, let me do really well in work :) I believe God has a way for me! Let Him lead me!
