ugly is the new beautiful

I realise I have not really been really dressing up. I think people who just got to know me recently must think I'm like a geek who only knows how to wear a school uniform(maybe its true :P).
But I seriously think that I dosen't matter how you look in the outside. Your inside is more important. Then again, it is hard to change people's mindset. So I shall just change myself. Clique, let's go shopping! I'm really trying my best to go out with you all ya. And I'm really excited about the Kbox outing! :D

For the 1st time, I would be going to Kbox with clique! Woohooo! I can't wait! I have been learning Chinese pop songs so that I will not be left out when they start singing. I think it's a good thing too cos my Chinese O level is like in 3 weeks time :O I'll be jumping around like crazy if I ever get C for Chinese. HEHEE!

Today's Physics paper was CMI! Like for the 1st time I didnt manage to complete a Physics paper. Arghhh! I guess I planned the time wrongly, assuming that the paper will end at 9.25am. I totally forgot that the paper would end at 8.55am. Was too focused on the questions already. So I lost about 10 marks :/ A lot of writing and explaination was involved. Well, I hope I'll at least pass the paper! It's already considerd good if you pass Mr Quek's paper :D

After the exam I went to do some maths for like 3 hours! Yay! And another 3 hours tomorrow, on Sunday, maybe 6 hours! Hohoho! I hope I do get distinctions for both Maths. It was a subject I used to really hate. Now, let me conqure it!

Just had a phone call from my brother. He say he misses me, which is usually unlikely. HAAH! He left when I was 15. He'll be back for holiday when I am 17. And when he graduates, I'll be close to 19! He will be 25 years old? My parents would be so happy seeing their children all grown up! Then, it'll be our turn to look after them. Haha. I can't wait to go over and visit him. And see snow!!! I have yet to see snow!(even though he says that snow is not good, i just wanna experience it!)

Ok, so this is basically the update of me during an exam period. Time to study again!! I confess right now, I will get distinctions for Maths(not for mid-years though :P).

my mugging days

I'm posting up all the mugging photos so that I'll be motivated to mug more :D Whoopee! But I think I was obviously MORE hardworking last year! SIAN, I want to mug! One of the popular places I have been studying in... MACDONALDS! And yes, every exam period, I would grow fatter cos there's ALOT of temptation in the place I study in ;D You should know what I mean.

One of the Saturdays that we would study after cgm. Ahhh! Miss those times!! We would just sit there from 4pm to 10pm! That's 6 hours! Phew!

This was waiting for the lecture room to open for night study. You can see the evening sun shining on my face :D I still remember that there were times where I immediately started studying after school all the way till the lecture room closed which was at 9pm!

So, that was how I lead my life last year. Hahaha. Oh, anyway earlier today, some of us studied Physics for about 3 hours. Yay! Feel so happy but that's not enough!! Will study later and definately tomorrow the paper which finishes at 8.55am? Woo! Ok, BYE! :D

i need to mug more!

Ok, yesterday evening I went to join my cousins in their chalet cos of Freddy's bday celebration. I didn't even know! But who cares? And can you believe it?! I went in the midst of my mid-years! That's like the last thing I should do. But I went lah, cos my mom was like nagging me to go -__- Ate a lot of yummy BBQ food! The younger cousins were always laughing at my jokes. Yay! Photos!

Was dead beat when I got home and I went to sleep without bathing and all that. Hehe..

So, in the morning, was doing A.maths till now! I hope I'll be able to do most of the questions for tomorrow's paper :S And I hope I can get something better than an E8 for Chinese! My mom is now asking me to go out for dinner. Urgh. But anyway, I've been doing 50 sit-ups everyday before I sleep! Woohoo!

Ok, time to do MORE work. It'll be all over soon!

So, after SYF, what have I been doing recently? STUDYING! Can't thing of anything else. Well, at least now I'm relaxing here for awhile. You know, I can't possibly be studying forever right? I must balance play and work :D

Anyway, had English Oral Prelims earlier on! Wasnt mentally prepared at all but things went smoothly! I think it's my best oral ever! Had the chance to use words people won't commly use. Hoho. The examinar was giggling at times when I was talking. I wonder why o.O

I wish: To be good at A.Maths... And also learn to be secure towards myself. No more breakdowns please.

Guess I won't be blogging for a few days! Tata!

SYF CENTRAL JUDGING 2007

BBSS CHOIR ACHIEVED A SILVER AWARD!

If you're asking me how I feel about the result, I'm actually very happy and relieved to get a Silver! :D Yes, I did expect a Gold but after performing, I felt it wasnt attainable cos we had some pitching problems and my voice vibrating too much due to nervousness. LOL. Anyway, shall start from the warm-ups...

We had our warm-ups at some outdoor sheltered area near VCH. We also had a mini run through. Just in front of us was the road and a few tour buses drove past. It was hilarious! All the foreigners staring at us as if we're some tourist attraction. Haha, not only that, some foreign passerbys took our their camera and started taking photos of us! One had a video camera too! It was soooo funny! xD

While approaching the holding area, other choirs kept staring at us. I was telling all my juniors, (pretneding to tell the other choirs)"Stare what stare?! Never seen a Gold choir before issit?" Haha. Ok, it was meant to be funny. I was just trying to make the tensed moment calm.

Just moments before performing, we tried as much to be as calm as possible. Finally, it was our turn. I don't about the others, but I know I smiled and enjoyed myself the best I could. But the solo part with Liling, was horrible! Our voices were both shivering! Hmm, but overall I think it was ok. We were out of pitch at some areas but we went back! Woohoo!

We went back to school. And then, went back to VCH again to collect results. LOL. On the way, I ate KFC with some of the gals. Haha, I decided to eat cos I wanted to rush home after results. Did not eat fried food for a LONG time already. Haha. A week is a long time :P

So ya, ya, ya. Let's go to the result part. Most of the judges were foreigners! Some were from World Youth Choir! Means their judging is of a cetain standard! Then, the person started announcing the results. A total of 20 choirs performed today. We were the 8th. Before us, there were many COP and Bronzes. I was devistated. I was telling Liling that I'm not surprised if we get a Bronze. On the split second where the person said, "S...." I was relieved!! Even though it wasnt a Gold, I think it was very good already. Among the 20 choirs, there were only 1 Gold which was after us and 1 Gold with Honuors award. About 5-7 choirs only got Silver, mostly autonomous school.(thats how i compare things actually. tsktsk.)

Yay, I'm so happy! I finally can not worry about SYF anymore. Now, I can fully concentrate on my studies! Whoopee! This season has been really hard, coping with various things. Now, I'm free! HOORAY FOR CHOIR! :D Thanks people, for your never ending support. I really appreciate it..

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!

I know tomorrow most of you would have a super ordinary day at school. But for me, my school choir would be performing at the SYF central judging at Victoria Concert Hall! This really means a lot to me. Achiving an award proves the choir's status. I want to do my best before I graduate.

Come to think of it, choir did made a big difference in my life. For example, the chance to be a sectional leader like marking attandance, scolding people who sing softly, remind people who sings out of tune, planning camps, organising concerts, conducting the choir(a little), leading warm-ups, giving announcments and many more! Not forgetting the people I get to meet there too! :D

For my 5 years in choir I have seen all my juniors growing up. Especially the current sec3 batch, I was a new leader when they were just recuits. Now, they're gonna be new leaders! I hope they'll lead BBSS choir to greater heights!

Will write more when we have our passing down ceremony :D OK, I'm off to work!

We've been training very hard since December! Singing the 3 songs over and over again! We went through a lot together, the good times and the bad times. I still remember the scolding sessions from Ms Seah. Haha. So all the best! Enjoy performing! No.1 achievement: Dont regret! Perform the best!

A series of events

I thought the day would be normal but it was packed, from one event to another. Let's just start from Friday.. Had PE. Some of us were doing shuttle run. And when it was my turn, rats! I fell onto the ground. Everyone was laughing at me, including myself. My PE teacher called me "rolling stones" at that moment and it has been a nickname for me since then. Got a lil bruise on my palm. Thank God. If it was a scar on my face, that's it! Teacher sprayed that cooling thing onto my wound and it was so painful! But now, I'm well, kicking and alive!

For math lesson, was kinda slacky. Really appreciate it. Math teacher showed us some clips in class. We were laughing most of the time. But never laugh until I cry leh :( I like that feeling. HAHAHAHA. Soon, she told us to pack our bags and head to the canteen. Apperently, our 2 dear form teacher gave us a chicken wing and drink treat for the project "second chance" thing! Thanks a lot!! We toasted 3 times. Yes, let's believe we'll do well in our exams and mantain the class spirit!! :D I decided not to eat the fried part of the wing so Thahirah ate the skin away, leaving the meat! Ate 3 in total! Yummy. Oops :P

After that, I settled some choir stuff and saw Wanting and JiaHui outside the staff room. They wanted to ask Mr Quek some Physics questions and I joined in! Sishi was there too!! Asked everything that I was uncertain.. Consultation rocks! I want more! Hehe. They left, I was there doing A.Math all alone. These days I've been hanging around outside the staff room to study! Even though noisy, I think its a condusive environment for me! Similiar to Mac's noise level but without one distraction... FOOD. Haha, which is good!

Mom came to school and we headed to CCK cemetary with one of my gu jies. Visited my grand dad and grand ma. Of couse both lah! If not waste my trip. But something happened... I saw a lizard each near both of my grand parent's grave! AHHHH! Probably they were both trying to play a prank on me -___- Jokes aside, I enjoyed that visit. I think I really gotta visit as often as possible, just to show that you remember them. I believing they're now in heaven enjoying themselves.

This morning had the LAST choir practice. Things were ok. Pitching, presentation and speed were ok. Woohoo! Jo came to show support! I was tearing when the we had the final talk. I feel that we had already done our part. Now, let God do the rest. I really, really pray that God will bless us! I really desire to achieve a Gold. Even our conductor gave us the assurance that we can get a Gold. Can you imaging if we didn't get? I promise you, that I'll cry no matter what. Gold, too good, like how I cried over my N level results. HAHA. Silver and below, also cry cos didn't achieve what we wanted. Bring tissue for me alright? :D

Had cellgrp meeting and service. Woo! Fellowshipped with Jing Wei. Went to Raffles City. Ate Subway for dinner and _______ :D Shared a lot in common like theatre plays! Finally I found a theatre freak like me! Looking forward to watching plays together with her!

Yup, that's all, tomorrow's plan, do math, dnt and physics.
