Ahoy!

Hello, I'm super tired so I shall not update photos. Hehehe. But I'll share with you what I did for the day...

In the morning, went to a Catholic Church. Everything was in German so I was lost throughout. Gahhh.

Then we saw a carnival at Lugwigshafen! People with costume walking along the streets, throwing sweets and many other freebies! Singapore's Chingay cannot be compared to this. Oops. Haha.

In the evening we went ice-skating!!!!!!! So cool when you skate and breathe out smoke(due to the cold tempreture). I didnt skatefor a long time so I fell a couple of times. Hehe.

Going to Salzburg tomorrow!!!!!!!! My first solo trip. Please pray for me that I won't get lost or anything.

Yawn, I'm so tired and still suffering from jet lag! Ciao!

My Day In Germany!

Okok, it all started out when my lovely cg people were seeing my off in Singapore Changi Airport! Thanks so much guys! :DD Sorry for the quite lousy quality photos, due to the dim lighting at the airport.Miss Yee came in after our dinner! :D
So I boarded my 13 hour plane flight which was crazy! Only managed to catch 4 hours of sleep. The aeroplane was so noisy thus it was so difficult to sleep. The is ShouHeng who was my flight buddy! :D It is always good to have a company!Our meals on board. This was the dinner.And this was our breakfast.So we landed saftely at Frankfurt Airport and I finally saw my Brother after 1.5 years! Well, he is doing well and still, FAT. We hopped onto the train. Then, he took out an apple which I got from the plane and ate it on the train.For a moment, I was surprised that he would "dare" to do that. Apprently, you are allowed to consume food and drinks on the train... AMAZING!There was also a dustbin! I asked him why was it there... He said, "If this wasnt here, all the rubbish would end up on the floor."Before the sunrise.Arrived and Mannhiem station! Whoopee! Sorry, I seriously look like a tourist. But later after settling down and all that, I looked much more like a local there. That's what my Brother said... LOL.Eating Macdonalds cheeseburger while waiting for the tram... How did it taste like? The ambience. Hahaha.Looking like some stupid sua ku, like never eat burger before like that.Me getting excited and my Brother getting sian.Beautiful trees.My Brother in front of his house! Or should I say pig sty?We had Vietman lunch...Went to the supermarket and bought a couple of stuff.I saw a dog on the tram. Cool right! Haha. They allow dog leh! But the onwer has to pay a child's fee for the dog.Met a group of students from NUS my Brother was supposed to help them around... So interesting, having 7 Singaporeans together. It feels much safer and comfortable :DNow's a carnival period in Germany.In the evening, we took a bus to Ikea!This was my dinner!! Yummy! Well, it costed me s$16. Tsk!

So went for some shopping at Ikea, similar to Simapore, nothing special in terms of their goods. But they are super green! Definitely beat Singapore hands down! They NEVER give a single plastic bag to you. Not even in the normal supermarket! Amazing! And also, they have a machine for people to deposit their used plastic bottles and they would be refunded 0.25 euros(50cents)!!

So one the way home, it was sooooo cold! My Bro said that it was the zero degree mark. But it was terribly cold!!!!!!!!!! I was going to die, shivering like never before. And I'm very tired now. The jet lag is killing me so byebye!!!!!!! :D

Good Morning!

I have just settled at my Bro's apartment! Doing fine :D It's 10am in the morning now. I have soooooo much to share and so many photos to post! But now I gotta go settle down and get ready to go out again later!!! Woot!!! Ok lah, maybe one photo for your pleasure...

As you can see here, the wind is blowing at my hair and my hands are in my pocket. Very coldddddd!!! Brrrr. People in Singapore complain hot wanna sit bus because got air-com. Here people say very cold wanna sit in bus because it is warm!!

Wait paitiently ok? I'll update again tonight which will be 5am Singapore time. Haha!

All set and read to go!

Like finally, I'm done with all the packing. Didnt had a good morning though. Let me explain. Mommy wanted me to use luggage A instrad of luggage B, so we changed.... Then, she realised that lugguage B had so much space left over and asked my why in that blamish tone. I told her I already exceed the 20kg mark. And thus I needed to eliminate some stuff and bring them over to my crumpler backpack which I will put in the cabin with me. Then she blamed me leh!!!!!!

I know I should not say this but there were few instances I felt like strangling her, pushing her down the building or pouring hot water at her. But those were thoughts only lah... Pfffft. I mean, quarreling in a family is so common. Don't tell me you have not quarrelled with your parents or siblings before.

But don't worry, no one died. She now still alive cooking lunch and later going to drive me to the airport. Things will be normal when we depart. LOL. You know lah, away for 5 weeks, must have the 5 weeks worth of quarrel.

Ok, let's not talk about that anymore. I am leaving today! Woot! I was so glad I had a good sleep and not tossing around on bed due to the excitement. Hmmm, but I feel that I'm not mentally prepared for Europe. It all feels like a dream now.

Tomorrow!

That's it! I have no more mood to pack now! But I'm more or less ok lah. Well, the reason of my moody-ness is that I can't find my hard drive containing all my digital photographs. I would wanna update it from my laptop before I leave as I'm afraid that this lappy would crashe when I return. Ahhh! Anybody, help!! You can come over to my house to help me find if you want. Haha. But I took 2 nights to search my whole house but no use :( And Mommy has been constantly blaming me for my carelessness and at gets me more irritated and moody :(:(

Well, on a lighter note, today was my last day at OTTO! Finally, no more waking up early, no more freezing in the air-con and no more thinking of always what to wear!!! But I'm sure I'll miss everyone there! All the Aunties and Uncles have been so nice to me :)

For lunch, we went to Kushin-Bo for lunch... It was a treat from on of the Uncles! :D

The soup is super hot and nice! :D I burnt my tongue :(

The dessert was also fab! Cute cute mini donuts.For the last 4 days, I needed to bring my lappy to do some computer work... Of course I took the chance to be online the whole day! Muahahaha.Celebrated the birthday people for the month, the month before and the month after. The scene was so funny and I kept laughing. Hehe. You know lah, all the stern face adults suddenly becoming cheery and funny.
I was given the biggest because I was the youngest. After buffet, eat choco banana cake. So fattening!!! Argh! And I ate ba kua after that. Wahahaha.Can you see the faddish rainbow? Sorry ah, lousy camera. Haha. But it was so beautiful! Even without my spectacles, I could see the rainbow cleary. Usually people look upwards.. Now I just look out and see a beautiful rainbow liao! Magnificent! Can you see the pot of gold? Hahaha.Ok, this is also one of the treats one of the Uncle gave yesterday. My 1st time trying a freshly baked donut from Donut Factory! The fudge or whatever you call that was not even dry and it tasted so hot! You can see the reflection of the light. Ah! Perfect!

So like I'm so happy I need not work anymore :P But also happy that I've learnt so many things. Well, the most important thing I've learnt is to always think efficient. Like if you think another method is a faster way, do not hesitate to change!

I am very sure I will come back if they organise any events and of course if my Dad goes. Haha. Actually they have an event at Batam side, but I can't make it :(

Ok, back to packing now. And also continue the search of my dear hard drive!! It's driving me nuts! :D

3 More Days

I didn't have the intention to blog until the day of my departure, just to give you guys a lil surprise and anticipation. But Mr Malcolm Boey commented that my blog was too boring thus he sent me some photos and forced me to post here. He wants to see how excited am I. WHOOOOOOPEEEEEEEEE! (no, it is not sacarsm)

Ever heard of "somethingsomething* till the cows come home? Yes, this is the reason. "MOOO!"See the resemblance? They're equally, FAT!Ahaha, since young, my Brother loves being sucked by cows. I don't know why... Their saliva really stinks.Ducks following the mother.The beautiful castle of Edinburgh.Even their buildings look so castle-like!Salzburg... One of the scenes "The Sound Of Music" was shot.A standard tea in Germany... Pretzel, sausages and beer!Social life...

Right now, I'm stuffing what I can into my luggage. Poor me, become postgirl already... Must bring so many things to my Brother. And my room is in chaos! I didnt know I have to do so many things when travelling. I thought just sit aeroplane and take off. Haha.

Malcolm, ARE YOU HAPPY!? Thanks to you, I think people will start hating me cos I'm showing off too much. (So friends, I hope you'll understand and continue to love me) I won't blog till Friday!! So byebye! :D
