It's party time!!

My exams just ended 3 days ago and I'm having so much fun!! I didn't get to enjoy since December before my attachment. Goodness! But finally, I can just laze around, reflect upon my life etc. Once the 3 weeks is up, I have a 3 week Polyclinic and IMH attachment followed by a 1 week holiday then it'll be year 3 already. TIME FLIES!! I still remember when I was a freshie, dreaming about the great things that are gonna happen in my Poly life.. Heh..

Anyway, Friday after cgm, I had the chance to hangout with SiShi, Carlos, Barry and ShengJie!! Carlos is always so nice, driving us and all. I must repay back his kindness in the future! Had supper at Upper Thompson Road. Ba Chor Mee... Oooo, mentioning it makes me drool already. Although I didnt eat with them because I had a stomachache :/ Then we had 2nd supper driving through KAP's Macdonalds. Settled at BB's Nature Reserve carpark.. Funny place to chill, I must say.

Yesterday after service, I rushed off to XiaoPing's house!! Took a bus outside Expo hall 1. Ended myself up in Tampines and just explored my way to her house!!! I thought I was lost but when I looked up, I realised that I was right under her block!! Wooo, I'm so street smart! (yeah right) When I arrived, they were majong-ing all the way. CNY mood indeed.

Today I served choir s4 :) Took some photos!! I realise I've been putting make up weekly and all for choir, but I don't take photos with my friends. Haha. So today I had the chance!! Sophia, the new batch but already so active in serving!

The coming week is gonna be a busy one!!!!!! But I like! :D

"So how was you paper?"

This time round, it feels REALLY different when the exams are over. Well, in the past, I woulden't feel any difference because I would be studying in front of the laptop. But this time round, YAY ME! :) Though I had breaks inbetween using the computer, I am sure I had 99.9% concentration. But for now, it's like wooo! I need not worry about those exam thingys anymore! :D

During the exam period, I have been so, so stressed!!! Ok, I feel kinda more stressed when people come up and ask me, "So how was your paper?" In particular, my Dad. I mean's it's ok if you ask once or twice. But he had to ask me ALWAYS. He will call me after my paper and ask, and when he gets back home from work, he will ask again. I mean, so what if I said that it was good or bad? Like will it amend the answers that I've done wrongly? No. I think I will talk to him about it tomorrow. Haha! And please, don't tell me you won't get irritated by it. Anyhow, they are OVER! And he won't ask me such questions anymore!!

I think I ought to be proud of myself :) I have never studied so hard for an exam before. Starting revision early(like 1 week before the musical), those long hours in the library, the amount of time I spent locked in my room... I know the results won't pay off, because I know I will deprove. But still, yeah! I'm proud of myself. It's an attitude I ought to keep!!

Recently, I've been strumming on my guitar as well!! Having a few gigs coming up! Woo, my love for guitar playing is back! Well, I hope I can do a nice one for March 7 and auditions for clubcrawl!! Heehee. And oh, I had a hair cut! :D

I have a list of the things I wanna do after my exams. Gonna complete one tomorrow, which is to donate blood! Well, let's hope I don't have low iron levels in my blood -__- Shopping! I need to do some shopping. Can you imagine? I have never bought a single new outfit for CNY :/ Hehe. And basically, just chilling out!! :D

I'm looking forward to that day...

Ok, I was just being random and decided to view the musical photoshoot photos. Would like to share it here :) Seesh! Should have brought my sony alpha for the rehearsals! Oh well, better than nothing ;) We had so, so much fun during the photoshoot. Though we took hours to do the make up and try out the costumes, for the photographer to take 2-3 shots. Ahhh! Hope I can get the actual photoshoot shots!! Heh..

Hmmm, my make up was abit off. But nevermind!! It turned out alright in the programme booklet and the posters! Heh...

It was fun! You know like ANTM! If only I could give the right facial expression in photos :/ You know, not smiling but looking really great!!

I think we got carried away. Haha.

Ultimate! I love this!! Fadzly's expression is so genuine. But eh, it's because his left arm had problems ok!! He was ok when he tried to carry me the other way.

Ok, the last one from musical. I really have NO LIFE. Keep thinking about the musical and all (actually not really lah). I like this!! It captured my expression! Oh man, I'm looking forward to the day when I play a proper role in a musical production!!

Ok, enough already. Hahaha. Urgh, been studying and studying! But I hope all's fruitful! :) I was really proud of myself yesterday. Slept at 10pm and woke up at 6am. I think early sleeps are good! I like this photo of my cousin and me because it has the full shot of my top!! Hehe. Bought it at JayJay's in Melb. Woohoo!!

And lastly, how can I ever neglect my dear JingWei? :) Please don't think I'm such a person alright?! So sad lah! She's flying off in 3 days' time! Won't be able to see her for another good 9 months? I'm starting to love Corrinne May's songs once again!! Her songs are all so study-ish!! Been listening it and studying. I love the way she brings out a story or an emotion through her songs. I mean, sometimes it takes a lot of thinking to come up with lyrics of a song. Wooo~ I wanna write a really good song one day too :)

About studying, I think it's alright? But urgh, I am totally not allowed to use the computer please! Maybe I shall stop it tomorrow. But yeah, been studying a couple of hours. I have not started memorising though, it's the tough part! :/ I have been taking too many naps! Ok, tomorrow, will be a better day!!!!!!!

Like for my case, I like abalone and salmon (they just happen to be expensive~), so I spammed them on my plate! If people blame you for taking too much, quickly put them in your mouth and say, "Where got?!"

I totally like it lah!! I mean, who's REALLY nice to let others eat the good stuff?! Muahahaha! We are all in a dog-eats-dog world.....

Happy Valentine's Day to all also! Ok, I don't know why is everyone making a bug fuss out of this day. If you have a partner, do something special for them everyday, not just on 14 Feb. Ok, probably I talk too much. Let's see what I will do on 14 Feb in the future. HAHAHA!

Lastly, I finally got to see Yvonne! Yay! It's been AGES since I last saw her!! Hmmm, that was before she left for Texas for 6 months! Wow! Seriously I need more cousins like her :/

Oh oh! I like it when Channel 5 comes up with really nice movies to watch this season!! I hope they will show more!! So far, I've watched, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, White Chicks, Shanghai Noon and Just My Luck!

Jeez, I'm feeling guilty already!! Should study more!!!!!! Urgh! Amazing huh! Last time in primary or secondary school, our parents and teachers would drive us nuts to study hard and all. Now I no need them around to feel so, so guilty not studying!! (despite i made the effort to study 2 hours daily? heehee)

Ok, I better increase it to 4 hours (i hope its attainable) and 6 hours from Wednesday onwards!!! Discipline, I need discipline!! Internet, get out of my life!!!

Symbolic Interactionism

I had my sociology project presentation today and this theory of symbolic interactionism is still fresh in my mind. Basically it's something that we attach meanings to symbols. It may not mean something in the first place, but us humans begin to add a meaning to it.

Every year when Valentine's Day is around the corner, I would think about Istanbul. It seems that I have attached a meaning to that Europe-Asia state. Just 2 years ago, I had my V Day in that wonderful place visiting the mosques, experiencing the wet snow(super cold!) and shopping at the arcardes with Malcolm and his classmate, Jian Nong. Boy, I had a ball of a time!

Not forgetting the unsightly view of 2 Turkish cats mating in the middle of nowhere for all to see! Hehe.

Yes, all of us have attached a meaning to 14th Feb yearly. Some may be recalling their first love, some may be thinking about all those red roses and chocolates to be given away to their loved ones (friends and family). Well for me, I would just think of Istanbul and EXAMS :(  I guess my rate of studying is really slow for now, but at least something is happening :) And the reason why I am blogging now is because this would be the last time until the 25th!! Woo! A long time, I must say...
