seventeen

I can't believe I've finally turned 17! I still remembered when I was 10 and was admiring how old my brother was, and now, I'm in his shoes! People always say that being 17 was the best part of their lives, I wonder if it's true...

Hmmm, I had a series of celebrations, even though I am not suppose to. Actually, didnt expect much as I would prefer mugging at home all day long. But people were plannning celebrations for me, how can I disappoint them? However overall, I really enjoyed myself. Birthdays make me realise actually how I am important in people's life :D

On Saturday, W325 celebrated my birthday in Miss Clarity Cafe @ Bugis. I like the setting because of the girlish decorations and the menu. Best of all, nothing beats the company of W325! Thanks for all who came down, even though most of you guys were having their exams at that time. Really appreciate your presence! Special guests Rongrong and PeiEn came down too! That really made my day! :D

Next, on October 3rd, I was expecting a "surprise" from clique. Boy I was really surprised! Mom asked me to come over to the new house and when I reached the doorstep, the door opened and all of them shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" I was more of shocked! But most of all, I like the decorations. Matches my wall :) And guess what, they did it day before with my mom there! She kept the secret too! What's more I fell kinda bad because while I was mugging away, they were busy decorating my house..

I was pretty excited opening up the presents. Heehee. But sadly, I accidently deleted some of them. RATS! However, the images will remain in my heart forever :) We went downstairs to have zi char, and started singing birthday song for me. All the uncles were looking at our direction. So embarassing!

On the actual day(Oct4), Huiyun and Samantha came by and gave me a pressie! Muahahhaaha! I love it a lot! :D These 2 girls are extremely sweet!!! So gonna pinch your cheeks soon!

In the evening, met up with Theresa and Marcus as our birthday falls on consecutive days. And I'm the youngest! Yeah! Went to Esplanade's Ichiban Boshi and ate till I could harly stand up! The ambience was good! Just that we didnt get to sit at the conveyer belt area. AWWW! After dinner, we took out our cakes, lit the candles and started singing the birthday song to ourselves. It was hilarious! Nevertheless, laughter is the best thing to have :D After paying the bill, we walked around taking photos together. It was definately a day to remember...

Took a cab home from Clementi as I was super tired! The strange thing was that differenciation question came coming to my mind. I solved that question before leaving the house for dinner. Hmmm, strange.

Well, I wanna thank all those who came to message, called or tagged me. It means a lot. W325, for making my "last fellowship" with you guys a memorable one. Clique, for spending time and money despite this mugging period. Theresa and Marcus, for the wonderful night of fun and laughter. For the someone whose bday falls on 3rd Oct, it's not really the chances to perform and all that. I mean, it's really good and I appreciate it but it's more of the friendship that we have fostered over this 1 year. Knowing that you're always there for me even though you're not physically there is already the best gift :)

I'm kinda happy that my L1R4 is better than what I had expected. I am able to get into MI! I hope I am able to get in when I appeal for it. But I'm just going there for the 1st 3 months to see how life is like there :) I have not lost my passion!

Staying over at my "holiday home" to get used to the studying environment here. Hope I'll adapt quickly! Will be starting my '10 hour per day study' when study leave starts! Really need the stamina and to focus!

Since I'm 17years and 1 day old, I need to be more mature and exercise some discipline. Off to study!!!
