After their sentosa thing, I met them at Vivo City and bought my Avenue Q tickets. Woo! I'm sooooooo excited! :D Can't wait for Nov 16 to come!
Then, we travelled to Sakura(buffet) at Clementi Woods. Though that was my 4th meal of the day, I enjoyed eating and munching to food away. Probably I gained a little, but it didnt matter to me because I have been eating 2 meals a day and I've been walking/standing for 8 hours everytime I work.
I really enjoy this company and have been laughing throughout the dinner. Which is awesome, totally! Also shared with them my nursing experience which was abit too much in depth I must say.
The birthday boy and I.
Today at work was quite dramatic. With brand new patients I had to know from scratch and an emergency case... It was saddening to know that family members of a certain patient don't really care if she goes? She's so ill and you just care about your children and your own things? 1hour, 2hours where doctors and nurses are trying their best to save her, there is still no family member in sight. She has I believe, more than 5 children and all of them are busy?
For the whole of the 2 weeks her being under my care. She is the patient with the least number of visitors. I only saw them 2 times? Simply disappointed. She was transferred to ICU but I guess her time running out. Ok, I should not be talking about all these due to confidentiality. But through this situation, I have learnt to really take good care of my family members and show concern towards them.
I can't believe that on Friday, my patient and I almost cried together becasue she was going to be discharged on Saturday. The reason why we didnt cry was becasue we both held it back. I could see tears in her eyes... That is one of the most painful part of nursing I must say.
Wooo, 5 more days till I turn 18!
