Enjoyable Holidays :)

Taken in 2007, January.
Taken 2009 on Teacher's Day, in a same typical classroom!
On teacher's day itself, we had a lil gathering! In the morning, I received this message...
And looked waht happened after an hour. Hahahaha.
Lil group shots!
We settled at Heeren for lunch and to meet up with JiaHui and YouPeng. Also, for the horrible rain to stop @_@
Thank God, the weather was fine! The rain had subsided already! :D
The unfortunate thing was that I fell twice, and they seemed to be serious! The first one I seriously thought I fractured my left hand again! I kept chanting that it won't be a fracture. You know this kind of trauma and being afraid that my arm had to be amputated or something(cos last time my monkey bar incident, i almost lost my left arm!). Thankfully I could still move my fingers and all that. Right now it's fine but my elbow feels a little funny! Well, shall wait for a few days to heal. The second fall was a scratch on my left elbow AGAIN! But thankfully, I am still able to type with my both arms :) Thank God!
Went to Botak Jones for dinner at Youth Park. Met Mr Mazlee and chatted a lil. After that, Matt came along from his afternoon shift and we went to Time Zone for another round of arcarde! The guys just can't get over it :/

To end off this post, I shall blog about the incident we encountered along the way home :)

This was written in my facebook profile:
Maria Baguita Boey gives a big hand to her dear Matthias for taking charge of a situation when someone collasped in the train... Ok, I did my part too, by communicating with the train driver :P Thankfully I wasn't in nursing uniform ;)

Haha yeah, someone collasped in the train and collasped again after recovering from the first one! I shall spare you the assumed diagnosis (some kind of seizure, not just any normal faint)Matt came with but WOW. I saw him being "serious" for the first time! Heehee. But it was quite cool when explaining the situation to the driver and upon reaching the next train station, the station staff were already were on standby. I was surprised, that the station staff knew about the news so quickly!

Gave him our personal drinks for him to drink, as he complained that he was dehydrated for 5 hours @_@ He's a tourist (American) btw -__- But I do have to mention that the trains are always so stuffy, which contributed to his collaspe. Oh and I found it interesting that he was drinking water in the MRT station in front of the staff, but he wasnt given any fine! I wanted to take a photo or something and put a caption saying, "Casualty drinks water in MRT station, but he wasn't fined" HAHA. So lame @_@ Please lah, at least allow people to drink plain water can. Who knows, the rate of people getting dehydrated and collasping in the train would increase.

Okay I have to admit. I am seriously a kay po. That's why I kinda like what I am doing! I get to help out in critical situations! Not that I want bad things to happen though.

Matt and I were thinking on how it would be like if he needed CPR. We would do a two-man CPR! xD And we would appear in the news paper the next day. I guess the title would be, "2 Student Nurses from NYP Revived A Life By Using The CPR Saving Skills They Had Recently Learnt" Ok, so lame. AS IF! If it really happen, I won't ever dare to joke about it. Haha.

Matt concluded that we needed to be more trained in critical situations like this and I could not agree with him more...
