This dream started about 1 year ago, when Rene told the few of us SoundCard members to do up musical songs for club crawl. She wanted to attract the freshies to sign up for the audition. Of course, we were all encouraged to sign up as well! And after a year of waiting, it finally happened! :)
Though it may not be exactly what I dreamt of, at least I got to perform on that very auditorium stage! Before entering NYP, I was worried that being in a bigger insitution, I won't have a chance to perform like what I did for Metamorphosis in BBSS. Little did I know I "advanced" into the next level! I mean, I'm Maria right. It is SO not me to just go through school without getting involved in other non-academic thingys! I am very, very sure that THIS would be an event I would NEVER forget :) Thank you, NYP and in particular, Rene for giving me the chance to achieve my dream!
Other than just performing, I have made really good friends from the various dance groups and SU!! From the bottom of my heart, I hope that we will all mantain the friendship! I expect to wave at more people from Monday onwards! LOL!
Moving on, I just want to thank the people who came all the way down so support me! First on the list, Theresa and Marcus!! Urgh, my fringe is so flat!!
The lovely tutorial mates! Now you guys know why I had to always stay back and all. Hahaha. Oh, Amelia came in as a surprise!!!
My 2nd family :P I was a must to invite my shi fu down. I hope I did improve some way!! Haha.
The closest people to me, my parents :) They have given me so much support and patience especially when I had to go home so late every night after rehearsals.

Lastly, peeps from my secondary school!!! Oh, I just feel so happy that Carlos, ShaoYu and ShengJie were involved in it! As if it's like a small world! Hehe. Sishi, I think if you came to NYP, you would be part of this too! Wahahaha. probably my dresser? HAHAHA!
The musical singers! A talented bunch indeed! :D Glad to know new people for know some people more! I believe some of us will go far some way for some how!! Roxanne, Farhanah, Bernice, Fadzly, Joshua, Angel, Shikin, Pris and Azri!! Woohoo! Singers rock!!
My Mr Fadzly Suhaimi!! It was great working out that song together with you!! Also the often train rides home together! Hahaha. I'm sure you will go far!! We MUST go for graduation audition together! :P
And lastly, Rene!!! I think if not for her, SoundCard would not exist and I would not be so exposed to such things! And I believe that she was the one who did the most effort for this performance!! Cheers to Rene! Hooray! And oh, yay! So glad that she's staying in NYP for another year!! WOOHOO!
Yeah, I'm just so overwhelmed by everything!! And I believe this desire to perform for a musical just would not stop here! The next level would be being in a real musical cast ensemble and who knows, supporting cast and then, lead? Haha. Well, I am not sure what lies ahead of me but I know God has a better plan installed for me!
