Teamwork

Teamwork is....
Not going for break but helping your colleague out when she is super busy.
Consistently asking your colleagues if there's anything you can do
Serving the darn medications to the patients even if you are not in charge of that cubical
Appreciating your colleagues when they help you out
Giving your colleague the credit when she really deserves it

Today wasn't a good day. Call bells came in non-stop and the patients really needed assistance in their ADLs. Even a frequent patient complained to my colleague that I was 'dao' as compared to when I was a student nurse. But it's not that I didn't wanna talk to her! :( I was really so busy.

Even too busy that 2 staffs broke down during the end of the shift. I feel them totally. One taking 14 patients and the other overseeing 18 patients as a new staff was taking 6 patients. And you know what? I just felt so useless. I hope I had the knowledge and skills to help them do the job.

Injured my back(bending too much) and had this really bad headache(which was relieved by panadol) after the whole shift.

As I've said a few months back during my PRCP, I want to be super duper efficient and good by June! 1 month and 1 week to improve myself!

I really hope I can be the one to help, and not to give more trouble to my colleagues.
