Another week is here... Looking forward to tomorrow's consumption sale(where i will kiv get a new phone), Wednesday's music prac, Thursday's meet up with Syuhada, Friday's rehearsal & Saturday's service!!! Okay but ultimately, I can't for 23 July. Hehehehe. Urgh! It's such a long wait!

Okay, I am also quite excited for a dear SC buddy Shikin who is going through the FINALS of Anugerah tomorrow. Like wow! How on Earth did she make it so far? Haha. I feel proud because I performed with her before and because she's a fellow sc buddy!! :) I wish her all the best! Really awed at how her dreams are gonna come true!

Well, mine dream already did! Muahahahahhaa! :D

Everyone knows I really want it

With God's grace, I GOT IN!!! I have the chance to be part of my school's 20th anniversary's performance! (I'm not mentioning my school in case someone googles & my blog link appears) It's gonna use up all my annual leave but I don't care! Besides, my sister will definitely encourage me to do this cos she knows that that is my passion! Gonna purposely invite her as well. Hehehe.

Can't get my hopes really high though, because there are only 3 main female roles and 4 of us are shortlisted. Which means one of us will be eliminated and would have to join the ensemble cast :(

Okay, it's not that I despise the ensemble but for the past productions I performed in, I played side roles or was in the ensemble. I mean, if I have the chance to shine, why not? I'm aiming to play one character, which I like a lot. Really hope that I can get that specific role! If I had to be kicked to join the ensemble, I could look at the bright side that I will be learning to dance! :D

Oh yeah, just remembered that I'm gonna have trainings with my favourite vocal instructor! Yay!! Can't wait for the first rehearsal already, which will be the end of next month. Hur hur hur.

Oh yes!!! Having rehearsal for another show tomorrow! Now, that's what I'm talking about!!!

Crazy Weekend (I really mean CRAZY)

Worked for 5 days straight last week. Phew! I am so glad that I'm done with it :) The weekend was crazy because I slept on unearthly hours! Worked on Saturday morning and then went for service!! Super tired as I has to carry all my things around! But nevermind, enjoyed service :)

After that, I headed over to West Coast Park to attend Murray's 21st BBQ birthday party! It was actually a good catch up time with my friends :) As we grow older, we talk about different things like our goals, focuses and work related stuff. Jeez, we're all becoming adults! :S Scary! No photos of the party though :/

Slept at 5am & woke up at about 11am to prepare to go for the ward party! Had a lot of fun! Like finally I get to see my colleagues and not talk to them about work stuff. Got to see the smiley and fun side of all of them!!! :)

Ate like a hundred satays and a thousand chicken wings. Ok, that's not true. But the food was quite good! Yummy!! The company was even better!! After the ward party, I left for the airport to receive a dear friend Sheryne. She came back from Seattle after 6 long months! So envious! Hahaha.

Slept at 5am as well... Which explains why I only woke up at 4.30pm today. I feel wasted! Ok, done my fair bit of stuff to do but I have not packed my room yet!!! Oh well. Even though it's already 8plus in the night, it feel like it's the afternoon in my body clock. Help! And I have work tomorrow morning. Hahaha.

At least I won't have to experience this in a long time. Oh and I'm happy with the fact that I no need to study! Muahahahhaa!

Material Needs

We were driving past Orchard Ion and I just told everyone in the car that that is definitely my dream home. Of course, it is just a dream and they called me materialistic :( Oh well, I'm afraid I am. That's why I composed "If Only". I have yet to find someone who can supersede my material needs :)

I brought Dad to IMM's Best Denki, having hopes that he might think that this is a good product and allow me to get it.

To my dismay, he said that it wasn't worth it, costing $429 for a machine like that. Well, I love it because it has awesome iPod synchronization with the use of the remote, AUX input, radio function and an alarm! Not forgetting the super nice purple design. Argh, my dreams of owning this is crushed. Nevermind, it can still remain as a dream! Who knows? 5 years later there will be even better products than this!! (just trying to cheer myself up)

You can't exactly blame me for being spoilt. In fact, among all my cousins (of course referring to the middle class ones), our family is the poorest :( Why? We always go to market for zi char dinner, we won't go to expensive hotel restaurants for birthday celebrations, none of us owns an iPhone(hehe), we stay in the smallest house, among the girls I don't have that many clothes, I took a banquet part-time job in the past and the list can just go on and on. Oh one more very important factor!!! My family does not have a domestic helper!!!!!!(other than mommy) Look at the environment I am in! I have not even started on the RGS/MGS neighbours I used to have.

Okay, why am I even sulking on how sucky my life is? My life isn't bad at all!!!! :D Why? Only I know the answer!! ;)

Grrr, I'm turning 21! Time to stand up on my own feet and start my prosperity line from scratch. Yeah, when I move out that is~

This was once a dream

I still remember when the plans of LifeUnited were announced in January this year, I was still deciding to go or to stay. I was just kinda worried, what if things don't go smoothly and everything fails? Would LifeUnited have the resources to put up with the weekly services? Would the members still feel the presence of God and know that they have a purpose? But somehow it felt so right to let go of everything that I had and just go. To put it crudely, the words in my mind were, "Aiyah what the heck, just go lah!" Lo and behold, after 18 weeks of hard work, we had our grand opening yesterday!!!

I think the best part of the journey is moving from Yu Li Industrial Building (our first location) to Clarus Center (the place we are at now). We were in Yu Li for only 3 months and we managed to turn Clarus Center into such an awesome worship location! Indeed, God made a way for us :) Seriously, all these were beyond our capabilities.

Ovarian Cancer had gained me a dear patient but has also killed her. She departed 2 months ago...

Everyone needs to know about ovarian cancer and have early detection before it's too late. I think it applies to all the cancers that exists...

Just had SoundCard production yesterday and it was awesome!! :D I just love the group of us! Gonna miss the really fun and crazy times we had during the 3 years in SoundCard... Hehehe. Managed to steal some photoshoot photos from fb. Let me be self-obsessed!!

Ok the dressing is horrible. No choice... I wasn't really prepared for the photoshoot. Heh heh.

After putting on make up, they got carried away. Thinking they're in ANTM. Then I was eliminated and I'm plus-sized. Hurhur. They have been bullying me the past 3 years! But no choice... Gotta love them. Hahaha! Okay, I'm just kidding :)

My 5th Month

If you were to include PRCP, this would be my 5th month in Ward 43. And somehow I have been assigned to my very own cubical alone. Of course I appreciate their great faith towards me, but I guess somehow I did let them down :/

In the midst of passing report, I just broke down. I don't know why. I just felt so lost. Crap, I just revealed my weakness to them. But seriously, am I still considered new? In terms of being able to do the job independently, am I too slow? Last night I could not stop thinking about the things I ought to have done. Well, it has been like that after a bad shift.

As the weeks and months are going by, I cannot give this "oh because I am still new" excuse anymore. Gotta mature up and get my ass moving! I still remember telling myself that by the end of June, I have to be competent already! Today is the 1st of June!

Watch out, here I come!
