:)

On Friday, I attended the Homecoming musical appreciation dinner. My main purpose was actually to get the DVD which I have watched some of the scenes over and over again. Okay, it wasn't THAT BAD LAH. So yay!! Another recording to added into my portfolio! I was asked to share my feelings of that musical as a whole during the session and I would like to share a portion which I really meant with all my heart.

"Though attending rehearsals were very tiring as I had to work full-time as a staff nurse, I did not regret joining Homecoming a single bit. There were good times where the cast would laugh at each other's mistakes, and there were bad times where I would be so disappointed in myself, when rehearsals didn't go too well. I kept doubting myself. But it is through these valleys that I learn more about myself and find ways to improve. I have definitely not completed this Homecoming journey empty handed."

So yeah! And it's so amazing how things I really wanted to happen happen. For example, two years back, I really wanted to singing the theme song of the YOG opening in NYP. Well, firstly I don't think I might have passed the auditions and secondly I was in Indonesia during that same weekend. Then, when I heard that the YOG theme was going to be sung in the musical, I secretly hoped that I would be able to sing it! Then again, I might not be chosen to sing cos I could not have fit the story well or the director wanted to give other SoundCard people to sing. True enough, they picked me and trust me, I heard the recording and I think we really performed it quite well! :)

I'm really looking forward to more performance opportunities. Hehe! I'm just excited of what is going to be ahead of me! A photo with Treasa! :D

Currently, I super duper excited of the mission trip to Bandung in April! I have already applied my leave and I'm all set to go. Hehe, not really. I think what I wanna achieve this trip is to really take a look how others do church :) Ever since I've been LifeUtd, I have always been thinking "Body of Christ". So yeah! There are so many things we can learn from each other!

Excited!! Dumdeedum! My current iPad and computer desktop photo! So pretty! Extracted from 500px :)
