Fun before the Weekends

I had so much already even before the weekends! There's just one spoiler that I have to work tonight! Zzzzz. Anyway on Wednesday, headed to Shuffle Bistro after work to support Louise in a competition! Who knew, a few other I knew were in it too!! So you can say that I went down to support all of them! :D The prizes were so darn attractive! AT LEAST, all who attended were given an 8GB thumb drive! I participated in the lucky draw but sigh, never win anything :(

Oh well, overall this event was bad because neither me or my friends won anything(so cheapskate). But it was good seeing all the SoundCard people again! Heeee! :)

The next day I had a date with the Lims to Sentosa's Marine Life Park!!!! We went to both the Adventure Cove and Aquarium!

Regret not getting a waterproof seal for my camera. If not, we would have taken way more photos!!! Too lazy to describe the experiences. Go there and see for yourself!! Hehe. Mommy and Nicole!

That's the kind of path I want to take for now. Who knows, I might look back at this and laugh, thinking that I was too ambitious.

They keep telling me that I must do something about it. Let me really do something about it!

Wai Chin's Wedding :)

This wedding was a little bit more exciting because we had to travel all the way to Seremban for her special day! Which means, loads of time to "keng gai" and understand how each one of us live. Not forgetting having to sleep in a hotel and have late night talks with your room mate!!

I shall spare the travelling details and share photos related to the wedding!! The clique(I'm not included :P) did a little scrap book of their journey.

Soon after, we all got ourselves ready and started to dress up!! My room mate!! Did make up for her actually but I didn't dare to make it too thick. Wahahaha. But like cannot see leh :(

 My non-offcial god mother. Hahaha. I dare not commit YET. But think about it. Because it will be a life-long commitment. And I don't even know if that's the way to have a god mother. (and i already have one). Stupid uncle had to put newspaper on our heads zzzzz.

Had the privilege to sing 2 songs for the wedding. It was more like a karaoke session where all the aunties and uncles would volunteer to sing. I like the moment while I was singing on stage, the bride was looking at me, and we just looked and acknowledged each other.

Did a fair bit of window shopping. Only bought A FEW items. I guessed I didn't really have the mood to shop with a wardrobe full of clothes. Need to clean it up soon! Urgh urgh urgh!!

Once again, I was forced to share my dream. Hahaha. But I didn't wanna make the conversation all about me me me. So I also asked what were/are their dreams and how they started out etc etc. And it was really interesting and inspiring to hear from them! :)

It's near the end of the year once again and I need to reflect on my life and make plans...

Christmas is coming! I can feel it! WOOT WOOT!!!

Away For The Weekend

Loving the fact that I am flying off to KL to attend my colleague's wedding this weekend! I bet that we will have tons of fun! Wooohooo! Gonna stay in a hotel which means we can have late night chats! Heehee.

Just getting abit stressed that things might go wrong. WOOAH! I just remembered that I need to bring my passport! You see this kind of thing! And gonna sing 2 songs! I hope everyone will like it :) Hopefully it will come as more like a surprise!

Can't wait to dress pretty and take tons of photos! Not forgetting the shopping that I'm gonna do! Muahahahahahaha! Tata for now! Gotta wake up at 4.30am. Urghhhhhh!

FYI, I slept in the ward last night! I might get used to this eventually! Saves so much time and trouble. Ok, I'm crazy.

YouthOUT Performance

It was tiring, but I'm glad it's over!!! Phew! Had planned the songs and organised the singers... Had fun though :) Though it was just a small event, I will remember it! Especially times spent with the singers/dancers!!

Ok, now that this is over, I need to work on my singing exam pieces!! ARGHHH! And also wedding performance next weekend!!! HELP ME!!!!

So last Sunday we dedicated time to meet each other up!! :D We did loads of catching up. Hehe.

Distractions

I have come to a point where I want to immerse myself in work, singing, performance right now. I guess I'm going to reach the breaking point. I can feel it. It's going to be painful, I know but it will all be for my own good.

Meanwhile, I'm thankful for a busy work schedule with a fairly busy workload, a performance on the 17th, wedding gig(s) to practice and my singing lessons. I was so busy the past 2 days and I felt so much happier. So I guess I hate it when I am just left at home to think about my life.

Going to Esplanade on Monday after work to practice for the upcoming performance. Just the dude, guitar and I. Maybe that's my kind of life. Thinking about nothing but making music. I hope that it will be a really good distraction! Just don't let history repeats itself.

God, I can't take it anymore... I really can't.

Yet Another Week

Phew another week and event over!! Very soon, it's gonna be Christmas and end of the year!!! Anyway on Saturday, the Cancer Survivor Dinner was a success! The workshops were so enriching and the dinner was good! Happy to see the survivors getting back to their normal lives and gathering together to share their life-changing experiences with one another. Pity I didn't get to really talk to them personally :/ Because I had to perform! Hehehe!!

Presenting the 2 Cheryls!! Had fun rehearsing and performing with them! It's really cool to know people from other departments! Hope to work with them again! :D

The glimpse of the dinner!!!

Somehow I think I am very grateful to be in the Oncology Support Group. I get involved in these events and get to interact with patients/ex-patients. I learn so much about life from them!! And also people from other departments and hospitals!! So if I get transferred, I can easily adapt with the people I know!

On Sunday, attended little Charlotte's baby shower!!! She's such a darling!! :) Poor girl, always having colic. But she'll get out of it soon!

She will grow up to be a beautiful girl! Hehehehe!!

Rats, Thursday is coming! Gotta practice singing!
