Yay It's CNY!

So after working for 3 tiring days in 43, I am having my 4 days off! :D Well, if you ask me, I do feel happy! But tired... Hope I will be refreshed during the long weekend and go back to work with a big "bang" :)

Hehehe, just share some photos... Had an impromptu lunch with Elson on the 14th and took awesome shots with me and my bike!!! :)

I actually got into a little accident recently and you can see a crack on my bike if you look close enough :( Boohoo. Hmmm, maybe it's a sign to change the whole look of the bike! Hehehe. Well, not so soon I guess :P

Next day I had reunion at my aunt's. We hardly take group photos so here's a nice shot of the Wang family! I'm glad yet a little envious of their lifestyle :P But it's ok. I am happy with my life! :)

Alright, spent my evening cleaning my living room. I just realised that my room isn't packed yet. Oopsy. Shall do it when I wake up lah! Heehe. Happy to be spending the Chinese New Year with my family and loved ones...

I got a little emotional when I had a few of my Chinese patients not going home for CNY :( This morning at work, the doctors offered this particular patient to be discharged because she was fit to. But she strongly refused. She didn't want to be discharged. Or is it because she could not get herself discharged as her family would be too occupied to look after her if she were to go home? Sigh....

And another palliative patient not doing so well. Despite only looking after her for 3 days, I dreamed of her. I dreamed of her sick-free, and she appeared as a very nice ah ma... But because of her pain and suffering, and probably dementia, she's behaving like that now :(

So yeah, I am really counting my blessings. Hmmm, if I get to make a wish for the new year, I simply wish that all my patients will get well and be happy throughout the Chinese New Year! That's the beauty of working in 43. I really get to connect and feel for my patients.

新年快乐, 万事如意!!
