It's the weekends!

An applause for thos who performed this week!!! (dosent include me because I only played the guitar) Hehe. Anyway, it was fun.. I played "I Need You" and "Tattoo" for Emmeline and Lin Long's performance! The Soundcard peeps are indeed a fun bunch :D We're always supporting each other! I'm glad I have found like a group of friends that share the same passion as me.So, due to all the practices, I have been reaching home at 11pm on Wed and Thur. Quite tiring, but still enjoyable. Hahaha. At least, the weekends are here and I can catch up on my sleep!!

There's gonna be another busy week of ICAs and project preperations! All the best to me! Most of all, I can't wait to go for my clinical attachment! Counting the days left! Whee!

Blood

Haha, today for bio I learnt about blood and the importance of it. From there I also know about the blood types and blahblahblah. I would love to share it in my blog but it will be too boring. But I just want to bring this message across that blood is very important to one's body!!!!!!

This Saturday, my secondary school is organising a blood donation drive.
Venue: Bukit Batok CC
Time: 10am to 4pm

I will be going there personally :) If interested do drop a message!! Your lil pack of blood can save a life! I strongly urge you all to think about it!!!

One who spoiled my day

Well, this is not a happy thing to talk about but I ought to spread this message across so that anyone out there won't get cheated like I almost did.

It all started that I went to HealthWay Clinic for my 2nd dose of Hep B jab... Happily went and all that. Ok, got to say that the injection is SUPER PAINFUL. Never expirenced such a sharp pain before. Seesh! After the injection, the receptionist called upon myself and HuiYu to pay for the liquid, whatever you call that. It costed us S$42.80. My jaw dropped. Because on my first visit, that woman(notice i didnt say that lady) mentioned that we only needed to pay like S$25 for the following injections.

They were trying to cheat our money. So I explained to her nicely about what her fellow receptionist said to me. She kept quite, typed a few things in her computer and just said, "$26.80". I rejoiced in my heart, yet was still disturbed by the lousy customer serivce there. No "Sorrys", no "Thank Yous". BOOOOOOOOOO! You get a ZERO for basic manners.

Another thing.. I think that healthcare in Singapore is out to cheat people's money. Sigh, I hope all these won't go too far. And of course I won't want to be part of scamming people's money.

About customer serivce and manners, I hope I won't be like that woman too. She looks like my age btw. Sometimes I feel that the education system is a waste. Where have all the moral values gone to?? (getting out of point) So what, if you are smart, you are an elite student? But you vandalise stuff, litter or even give a black face when one talks sense into you?

Enough, ha. No personal attacks though, except for that woman. Well, today I learn in Psychology that Intelligence is the ability to learn from one's experiences, acquire knowledge, and use resources effectively in adapting to new situations or solving problems.

I shall try my best to be intelligent, to never be like that woman.

Happy 060708! Hahaha. And happy 9.13pm! (i rmb saying that to someone...) This weekend to me have been very slacked compared to last week because I don't have any upcoming test! This attitude is so intolerable! Hmph! Maybe I should start later! :) Gotta keep my engine running!

Anyway, we had a badminton outing! It was quite interesting and fun because a couple of us actually, did take the time to meet up on a Sunday instead of the normal Saturdays. Now that's what I call a cellgroup :D Brought my Canon EOS for some try out! The photos are quite bad though. Haha.

Not forgetting I DID play badminton which means I ran and moved a lot. Away with the sedentary lifestyle and time to move my body! Na na na! Ok, this remind me of this youtube clip that I learnt from Hawa's blog! If ONLY I could remember all my bones. Presenting, the bone dance!!!



Then as I went back home, I saw this... I was really shocked at first!
1) I woke the cat up but it went to sleep. Haha, I guess it was very tired.

2)Then, I looked up. Nope, no tree or building above the car. Haha!

Is a car very comfortable to sleep on?! And I hope this car didnt have any scratches. LOL. I almost wanted to carry it home! Soooooo cute!

I'm feeling nostalgic.

A BBQ Celebration

Yup, on Friday evening we celebrated SJ's birthday. BBQ again~~ At least I didnt till I was very full. And I only ate one oily chicken wing. Hehe. Lazy to post up everything... Refer to Sishi's blog! :) Today's day 5 of diet... So far so good. Heh.

A glimpse of me performing today :) Should have brought a camera! ARGHHH! Well, for today, I was sastisfied with my performance! I made a lot of effort for my presentation. Hope it was alright! The only thing bad was the sound system. The atrium is too big and the echos are distracting. But overall it was alright! Pats for Fadzly, Azizi, Joshua, Hada, Shikin and our dearest president Jeremy!! Guess most of you all are performing for the first time.. But good job!

Well, would like to thank the NR0811 peeps for coming down to support me.. Esp my girls! Having lunch in the atrium and waiting patiently for me to perform. Really thank you guys so much for the support, even though it is only a 3 minute song :)

So my 1091 modules are all cleared! A huge burden off my shoulders and time to concentrate on the others... Esp bio! Grrrr!

Right... For today's test, I actually dreamt about it last night that chian of infection will come out. So, I studied a lot of it in the morning before school because I really had the feeling that it would come out. Who knows, nothing related to chian of infection came out, execpt 1 or 2 MCQ question. I merely laughed at myself(disappointing laugh) after seeing those questions. Never again will I believe in my dreams. Haha. However the papers was alright, though a bit tricky in the language. And I was super distracted by the performance and all that. I'm expexting a B. Really hope I can achieve this Breakthrough!

Pressure!

Firstly, I PASSED MY CLINICAL SKILLS TEST WITH A PRAISE! :D That means I need not retake and can continue working in the hospital for my attachment! Most of all thank God! Glad I was quite calm and all that. I did mistakes though, but learnt from them :)

Tomorrow? Performance and theory skills test. Sian... Didnt wanna perform actually. But was "forced" to? Hope I didnt make a foolish mistake. Besides, I have already studied skills, but I'm just not sure how the question will be like. And I should be taking time to blog too. Haah!

ANYHOW, WILL BE PERFORMING AT THE ATRIUM AT 1230PM TOMORROW! DO COME AND SHOW SOME SUPPORT. Even though I assume it may not be a really good one(right, my performances are never perfect actually). Haha. Ok, one motivation for me. SOMEONE is coming! HEHEHEHEHEHE :P
