Shopping Spree!

Basically I did some shopping with Polymates. We needed to buy hospital stuff before going for our attachment! On my side, I spent quite an amount T_T Heart pain... I was thinking should I claim from Mommy? But claim from Mommy also heart pain. So well, decided not to :) Besides, she has been giving my allowances. Just nice, I went to the working place and collected my pay. However, I have practically spent all my pay away T_T Monday and Tuesday's hardwork flew away just like that.

But not to worry! After 3 weeks of attachment, hospital allowance will roll in and I can save up once again! :D

Some photos!
Towards the end of our shopping trip, LingLi told us about some sale and my eyes glowed! In the shop, I kept asking for the price before even touching the item. 50% off btw at Marina Square's faceshop. Only for 3 days! Rats, should have worked more/saved more...

For the time being, I'm still not doing well financially :D Please pray for me! :D

Gadgets

Ok, I saw Sishi's blog and I have been looking up on this. CHIO RIGHT?! If only I could own one :(This is another thing I have been eyeing on quite some time... It seems that Apple has a way to make people get so obessed over the new arrivals. If only I could work in this company. I could probably own every single item Apple has produced! When I was younger, I used to paste Apple posters all over my room. *looks at room now* Sigh, those were the days. As I'm older, I would want my room to be proper. So nope, no posters for the time being.

Thinking again, that I want this and that... Am I ever sastisfied with the things I have? I such a spoilt brat. Always wanting the best and newest things. Well, here's the list of things my Dad bought for me and I am no longer using. I want to sell them away, but Daddy dosent allow. He wants me to collect them... (?!)

Sony Clie... Totally useless as my handphone can work better than this! Technology really MOVES.
I've chucked in my brother's room. WAHAHA.
I really really love this camera but water went in or something so it's spoilt... Rest in peace. My very first iPod... Nobody's using :(
No one is using this too :(I feel so sinful... If only I had many more siblings, we could share here share there. But please don't say that I'm rich... It's just a matter of where you mostly spend your money on. For my family, it would be obviously gadgets.. Well, other people may be food, house, TOTO/4D, tuition, clothes, furniture, car, etc, etc...

After this post, I think I am very blessed and I shall try hard not complain again! :)

Away

Yesterday I wasnt online because I decided to stay in the restroom of the hotel. Good decision though, if I were to go home, I would have only slept for 3 hours! At least, I managed to have 5 hours of sleep!

Since I started work I have been meeting groups of new people and they keep asking me if I'm a local -__- Some thought I was from China and Indonesia or some other south east asian country. But anyway, how do you define a 'Singaporean' look? We all just look chinese(yellow skin) right? Ok, if only I was a mixed like BritishChinese or IndianChinese. Heh, I dont mind!

Woow! Signature Park has been constantly featured in the channel 8 9pm show! I wonder why mediacorp loves that place. Filming has been done frequently there... Not just the outside, like swimming pool and other facilities but the inside of a house too! I miss SP :(

*changes into pjs*

Ok, I am going to sleep. Btw, I'm limping now... Due to work :( [that's how tough work is]

Cherish while you can

To me, when I dream of something or someone, I am unconsciencely thinking about it/him/her. So while I was away, I dreamt about many things at home, including BBSS, my poly friends, the cg and specific individuals. While means, my brain is constantly thinking of them, kind of like an involuntary thought..

That explains why I was already homesick the 2nd night.

It felt good when I told these specific individuals that I dreamt of them. This is to also let them know how significant they are to me! If you really love(as a friend) certain people, please tell them quickly!

Life is unpredictable.. I chanced upon Ms Conz's blog post. My heart sank. I quickly related to my own life and started thinking, what if this happened to someone I know? Indeed, if someone dear to me goes forever, I would be so, so lost.

Matt is currently working in the ward that I will be working in a weeks' time and he has already seen 2 deaths. Patients he once looked after are now gone, just like that. Probably after my 1st attachment, I will really treasure the people around me.

I urge you to do so too.

We even sang "Amazing Grace" during service which very much reminded me of my grandparent's death.

Cherish while you can.

Need for Affiliation

Studying Psychology has allowed me to reflect upon my life and I begin to evaluate what kind of a person I am. Well, among the 3 types of need under motivation, which are need for achievement, need for affiliation and need for power, I think I am a 'need for achivement' kind of person. Yet today, I think I am more of a 'need for affliation' person! It seems that having a good relationship with my friends is better than any number 1 result I have attained! Well, this only applies if I have not seen them for donkey years. Hahaha.

Celebrated my dear WanTing's birthday! The outing started with lunch, then a movie and then dinner with SiShi joining in. Enjoyed myself! It has been some time since I've last strolled along the streets of Orchard, not worrying about any lectures to revise through or any homework needed to be done!

My oh my... They have been close friends of mine for at least 4 years already! Which means they take up 1/4 of my heart!(which is a lot) Anyway happy 18th WanTing! Hope you like the card and the pressie I gave you! :) After that, I dropped by at The Little Happy Shop. Since I was quite near clarke quay, might as well pay a visit! :D The onwer is a person I have known in the past(dont wanna reveal too much). Well, it's been a long time since I've last seen her! Btw if you are free, do drop by on Saturday(today), 6pm-12am! The items are really cute! Then, lover was there tooooo!! Didnt see her for like 5 months! So so so so so happy! :DA group photo before I left. Hehe. (notice we all have the same colour on us)So that's how my happy day was made!! A person I was expecting didnt come though :( But nevermind, soon, soon!

Someone mentioned about my eye bags... I better catch up on my sleep!

Some place where beautiful flowers are grown.Looks like it's snowing!Like a rose. Haha.Popped inbetween the roses. Haha. The toilet is beautiful, isnt it?Something popular there.. 5 flavour ice cream! From top, lavender, vallina, melon, raspberry and chocolate! I was eating ice cream at about 20 degrees plus wind! Brrr! Cold!A lake covered by clouds behind.Kuma, kuma! So cute! Btw, that's not soil, it's their feaces!I think a teddy bear is better cos it does not stink. Once again I had that sad feeling cos poor bears, being locked up. But they enjoy? I guess? Cos they always have treats to eat. Still, I feel sad for them :(Hiking up 1/9999 of the volcano. See, my mom so slow! Her punishment! WAHAHAHA. Birdshit. Ok, I'm so bad.... They people on the tour were like saying she's lucky, she win 4D or toto. But in the first place, we don't buy them -__-We had dinner in the hotel, with everyone wearing the ukata.Enjoyed their company :)The day ended off with firework over the lake outside the hotel room. Very enjoyable, admiring at the comforts of the sofa. But poor Earth... Polluted by all these explosives.1 Sep, Monday; On the way to Hakodate, last day in Hokkaido.

Us with Tomi-san!Mommy made a BSF friend. My last meal in Japan, Cold Soba!Very lovely ah mah. She said that I'll make a good nurse. Very encouraging to hear that! I told her I need to learn Teochew so we started communicating. Hope my patients will be as nice as her! :DEnjoying the sunset on the plane. Byebye Japan!ANA served ice cream on board!

On the plane, I composed a poem, about my overall trip in Japan... Enjoy... (grammer edited to make it sound nice. hope it makes sense.)

As I sit here on the plane.
Going home, the time came!
From the land of the rising sun,
a guided tour and I need not run.

Once again, I do miss home.
Should not have come, if only I've known.
But overall I've enjoyed it.
Despite the circumstance that I meet.

After a week of fun and travel,
probably I've become more clever?
By looking around to see how things work.
If I only read to gain info, I'll be a nerd!

My favourite part is Japan's toilet bowl,
and the public bath, which is not cold.
A good service is what the Japanese yearn,
which is something I ought to learn!
