A few days back, I went out with my colleague to shop after work. It was a time for me to know her better. I don't know why but I started to ask her random questions about her life.
She has 5 siblings and the whole family lives in a 2 bedroom flat. Apparently, she does not have a proper bed to sleep on. She sleeps on a really thin mattress on the floor. And she doesn't even have her own room! I looked at my own life and felt so ashamed of myself. I may have almost everything in my room but yet I still complain and compare with my cousins who has more material things than me. I don't even wanna start with how her living room, toilet is like.
On my 21st birthday, I just want to learn to be contented with the things I have. I need to open up my mind.

Ward Party Again~
Wooohoo! Just came back from my ward party and had fun! Okay, I really have no idea why we are doing it so often. Just had one in June and we're going to have a year end one too! Zzzzz. But yeah woohoo! Partayyyy! Just no more chalet & BBQ please! Haha! Anyway photos!!!

Yeah, I'm really thankful to God for placing me in 43. Really believe that I ended up here for a purpose. I think every time when I feel so down about work, I just need to remind myself that there's a reason and it would manifest itself soon..
Back to work tomorrow! 5 days of work before I have 4 days of rest in the midst of my birthday! :D
Meanwhile I just hope rehearsal on Wednesday will be good. I feel a little bit more motivated after watching real musical backstage videos on YouTube. The quick changes, put of make up, warm ups and more :)

Post Night
I think I messed up my biological clock. Hahaha! But yeah! Night shift completed! *pats myself on the back* It's really not easy esp when almost all the patients visit the toilet. Hello. I don't even visit the toilet halfway through my sleep!
Just returned from another musical training. Urgh. I really hate this feeling. I need motivation. I know we're being trained up and all but I think what we are going through is really too dry. I'm starting to lose my excitement! At the initial part, I used to be so excited about every practice, but things are so different now... I just need to tahan. Because at the end of the day, I know all these dedication & commitment will be worth it :)
Showed the juniors some of the productions I was involved in, and they were so impressed. Hope that lil sharing will inspire them to perform and step out more! They're just year 1, still a long way to go! :) If only someone, anyone could inspire me...
At least for now, what I'm looking forward to is my birthday week (requested for 4 straight off days!) & the ultimate trip to USS. Hehehe :)
On top of all these, I just wanna thank God for the favor upon me in my different aspects of life.
Meanwhile, I'm still trying to be the best person I can...

First Night Tonight!
As a staff nurse... I don't know why, but I'm feeling so nervous! I just hope that everything will go smoothly :) From now on, I'll be having night shifts at least once set in 3 weeks! So yeah, welcome to the REAL world. The problem now is that I had to adjust to my sleeping time. I'm really bad and that's why I have jetlag always.
Anyway I had a good conversation with sister. Well, she's currently taking her part-time masters in nursing. She told me if I stayed long enough in nursing, they would send us to just go and further out studies. Then, she asked me... "Do you want to take masters?" I totally could not give her an answer. Sad ain't it. I hate crossroads. I just don't know where to go.
Purpose... What's my purpose?

SiShi's 21st! :D
So we celebrated SiShi's 21st birthday at some Korean Restaurant which turned out to be my only proper meal of the day. Nevertheless, I LOVE SISHI A LOT! :D Oh, we had a good time catching up too. The company where I can always be myself :)
The wide spread of food!! Yumyum! Spicy BBQ chicken FTW! (i have that most of the time for dinner at work)

Chilled out at Baskin Robbins!
From a random suggestion, it became a plan! We're going to USS in October! I'm like so, so excited! Finally I can go to such a place with my group of good friends :D I just hope the application of my "day off" on that day will be successful. I guess the roller coasters would not be as scary as the one I sat earlier this year *recalls the vertical incline this being upside-down SLOW*. Anyhow, I will scream my lungs out with my friends :D
Time to sleep and be awake for tomorrow's morning shift. I shall leave the packing of bag and ironing of the uniform to tomorrow. Yeah baby~ Instead of doing those things, I gave this blog a new skin. There you go, Lazy Maria

Comfort Food
Been thinking of my late patients. How they really suffered and craved for certain types of food even though they had really poor appetite.
1) Warm tau huay
2) Vanilla ice cream
3) Apple juice
4) Milo
5) Medication (okay kidding. actually there is!!!! Morphine)
From 30th Sep onwards, I will be working as a confirmed staff. OMG! The journey just started, again. All I wanna do is perform well and make my patients happy :) I kinda like it when they remember my name actually.
Turning 21 in about 2 weeks! Nothing significant, but I just want to spend time with my loved ones :)
Regarding rehearsals, I hope they will give out the script soon! Feeling quite worried cos it's drawing closer! Also, sometimes you just tend to lose the excitement when week in week out you're just doing exercises.

Wedding!
Attended Hui Chen's wedding! I love weddings because it's always the time where I can dress up. Okay, I wasn't really dressed up as it was in Bottle Tree Park but still, I like~ Hehehe.

Gosh. I can't believe I'm at this stage of my life where people around me are getting married. It feels like I've GROWN UP! Hehehe.
Talking about being grown up, today is Mooncake Festival and gone are the days where I would go downstairs and randomly play with fire! Hehee. I guess the computer/internet has very much changed everyone's life. Now everyone can just stay at home and stare at the screen the whole day.
Can't wait for rehearsal on Wednesday! Heehee! Gonna have Macdonalds too! Lala dumdeedum.

Things I Wanna Do

A Mid-week Affair
Caught Cars 2 with my darling SiShi and I love the movie so much!!! Hehehe. There was a little(actually a lot) James Bond element added into the movie.
The cars are sooooo cute when they are being personified!
And the company was awesome because other than a couple who sat at the very far back corner of the cinema, we had the whole place to ourselves! Thankfully we were not watching any horror movie if not we'll be hugging each other non-stop! Hahaha! But poor Eng Wah, having really bad business.
It was a good date :) Looking forward to more!
